    "We had blocked drain pipe in garage.
    Guy arrived on time and fix it in 30 minutes.
    Two weeks later same thing happened. Called them three times to finish the job.
    Promise and excuses, but nobody showed.

    "We had bad flooding and water pooling after rain in an area that was above our stormwater and sewerage lines that ran on our crosslease section to the street., which indicated to us a break in a pipe somewhere. The operator Sam, ran a camera down the sewerage line only and said it was all clear. He didn't know
    what the problem was, said the water table looked as if it had risen and suggested a sump hole be installed. Naively I paid the bill straight away ($316 for less than half an hour) Still we were left with the flooding. I rang back several times to get someone out, and was told that someone would come, but they never turned up on the day , I rang and left messages but no one rang back, and eventually when the following week Sam turn up for 5 minutes, looked at the flooding, scratched his head was abusive and left saying the drainage manager would be in touch. No one got back to us, we were still left with the problem, we engaged someone else and it turns out there is a block in the stormwater drain from tree roots which Drain surgeons didn't even camera even though my initial suggestion was that it may be a tree root from the adjoining obvious kauri tree. It is also all the 2 other houses on the crosslease water as well as their water runs through that drain...although it is not running through it is pooling on our property and compromising our house foundations. I rang the manager at Drain Surgeons last week and when asked what my call was about and I said it was a complaint I was told he was unavailable. I spoke to him yesterday to give feedback, but he was not receptive. I have now heard through the grapevine that there was a change of ownership and with the new management 90% of staff left.

    "Drain Surgeons came to our house as drains running slow. The guy said, no problems, charged us & left. We called again a couple of weeks later & he came again. Still charged but reduced fee. He said, no issues. About nine weeks later we had another problem except the sewerage was coming up gully trap. Clearly an issue. Turned out the blockage was 25 meters from the gully trap and a huge clump of roots. Blockage was on Council land & Council tree & Watercare found and removed roots in ten minutes.     "These people keep poor records. We needed sewerage line cctv footage for building consent before and after building. They behaved like they had no memory of the first job which was challenging, as they went to the neighbour's property several times without making an appointment with them - and then billed us for their time. I gave them the neighbour's phone number on several occasions, but this was not kept. No one remembers your name, your job, how to pronounce your street name, even if you ring several times the same day and speak to the same person. Service is slow, we urgently needed the second cctv job done for sign off, they didn't seem to think there was any urgency. The footage took nearly two weeks to get to us after we had paid. Why? Oh and the invoice they sent via email looks like an virus ... tried to tell them this to no avail. Really not a gratifying company to communicate with. NOT A CUSTOMER ORIENTED SERVICE."

    "Be careful - full charges apply even if they can't help or unblock your drain.
    Establishment fee to get truck on-site, full hourly charge for 20 minutes of looking at the job and deciding they didn't have the right access to do the job. "Sorry mate, can't help". Full invoice arrives in the mail, call up to query - nope, thats how it is.

    "Blocked kitchen sink early on a Sunday morning. Called the Drain Surgeons and was promised someone would be around by mid morning.

    Simon arrived on time, diagnosed the problem immediately and promptly remedied the situation.
