"Prompt Response, Yet Inexperienced Service

We had an issue with water droplets seeping out from the wall connected to our bathtub, so we decided to post the job on nocowboys with a detailed description and accompanying pictures.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quick response we received from this service. They assured us they could help and sent a plumber over promptly. However, our experience took a bit of a downturn from there. The plumber checked and concluded that the problem lay within a pipe inside the wall. Unfortunately, he couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the leak during the visit.

His proposed solution was to call in a leak detection specialist before proceeding further, which was a bit unexpected. We did as they suggested and reached out to a few leak detection services. All of them indicated that their expertise primarily extended to outdoor scenarios. Thankfully, one kind lady explained that due to the complexities of pipes within walls, it could be challenging to accurately identify the source of the leak using the tools anyway.

After some consideration, we decided to seek help from a different plumbing service. It turned out that the issue was relatively minor – an old cartridge, not a pipe leak. Once the cartridge was replaced, the problem was resolved and everything stayed dry.

Looking back, we're grateful we decided to go elsewhere for assistance. The potential costs and disruptions from the initial solution would have been quite extensive. While we did have to pay for the first visit, it's unfortunate that their diagnosis didn't prove to be very useful and felt a bit misleading.

We want to acknowledge their quick response time, which was definitely appreciated. However, based on our experience, it might be wise to consider the level of experience and expertise before fully committing."

"We dealt with Dynamic Plumbing Works on two occasions recently. Once to clear a blocked stormwater drain, and second to install ground water drainage and water proofing on one side of our house. Everyone I communicated with were very friendly and helpful. People arrived on time and at very short notice in some cases.

For the larger drainage work. The scope was discussed with me beforehand, estimates given and options for how to progress were discussed with me. There were unexpected issues that came up during the work, as there always is. But the site manager was quick to resolve any issues and the job progressed and completed within schedule.

Prices were very reasonable in both cases, and I'd happily use their services again :)"

"Very happy with the work completed by the team at site, but the admin staff seriously need to take a chill pill. Work completed on a Friday, invoice received on the Friday afternoon requiring payment within 24 hours. Payment made on Saturday morning by bank transfer. Received 3 emails on Monday chasing payment."

The young man, Matt, who came and fixed the blockage was excellent and gave me a lot of useful information to prevent the next incident. He did the job with a smile. "Very unhappy. They sent Blake an apprentice to work on a solar system in the ceiling space of my 120 year old home he even seemed to have a problem working out where to put a pressure relief valve, he put water through the ceiling which has damaged the hall and bedroom board and wallpaper. What should of been a few hours work has turned into a very expensive invoice and a nightmare. I was studying when they came to fix my system as it was they put me a further week behind that put extra stress on me. I'm in pain from injuries which caused some delay in them fixing the damage however they've caused even further delay's by now refusing to give the company details of who they intended to get to fix the damage, they said they would get a builder in however they then tried to arrange a handyman to come and do the job. I'm not accepting anything other than professionals repairing the damage and I'm sick of living in a home with mould in the walls!!"

"I understood that a fixed price quote as made on the pamphlet that Adam handed to me prior to commencing the job should include GST. Yours appeared to have added gst on.

The operator was efficient and the job seemed to be effective however washing down the concrete after finishing and taking soiled materials with him (gloves) would have been appreciated"
