The reason progress payments were not as forthcoming as they could have been, is that progress was not happening!!! Despite the fact that you managed to get nearly %50 deposit from us at the outset, this 6 week job extended to nearly 6 months!
As you wish to mention our "progress payments" publicily, we paid on time when we were not having troubles with your accounts people - ie, getting sent two accounts for the same work on… more than one occasion (I think it's called 'double-billing'!). As i said previously, why should we make a progress payment when work was not progressing as outlined? Eg, getting sent an account for the roof complete, when the work was not finished, ie flashings and guttering not fixed etc.
"In regards to your quip about 'PART project management' - this project was supposed to be 'project managed' by Ian Brown. We paid good money to have this project, managed and completed by you guys who assured us that liason with the supplier and the council was "not a problem." In the end I had to 'PART Project Manage' this at my own expense and time because Guildcraft could not communicate effectively with our supplier or with us. As i have discussed with you there were a lot more issues with this project that I don't think are best mentioned in this forum.
So thankyou once again for continuing the arrogant customer service and remarks that we have come to expect from you. After 150 building projects under your belt I would have thought that customer service and job delivery ON TIME would be of paramount importance. Good luck for the future - you'll need it.
