    "Would not recommend AT ALL. This place is unprofessional, do not know about keeping appointments with clients, am surprised they still are in business. I made an appointment for 9:15am for a bikini wax. By 9:45am the beauty therapist was still working on someone else. I HAD to pick up my daughter from creche so told them I was not waiting any long. I got a feeble \"sorry\" from the girl at the desk. Not impressed at all. DO NOT GO THERE!"

    "I take my 14 year old to get his hair cut by Richard. He won't get his haircut by anyone else anywhere else. He always leaves happy. The only downside is that Richard doesn't take bookings so you have to make sure you know what days he works and be prepared to wait. So I marked 'Reliability' low because of that fact. But as I said, Richard does a top job every time."

    "I too have had a bad experience with my fringe being cut at Hair Express, I would never have my hair cut there again because of it.

    However to their credit, they have a male hairdresser - Richard whom I religiously take my 9 year old son to, he does an excellent job with my son's hair (short back and sides - tapered with slightly more length on top). My son is quite shy and Richard always engages with him and makes him feel quite comfortable, Richard always asks my son what he would like but also asks me as well if this is okay. If Richard is not working I dont use anyone else, I come back when he is working.

    Thank you Richard for doing such an excellent job with my son :)

    "I wanted to get my hair done for my brothers wedding. I went in to make an appointment and showed the lady at reception a picture of exactly the cut and colour I wanted. She told me it would cost $90 and take a couple of hours so I made an appointment for the morning of the wedding.
    At my appointment I showed the hairdresser what I wanted, and she kept asking me questions, "do you want this?/do you want that?" of which I didn't understand because I know nothing about hair however I did have a picture. I just told her I had no idea, I would leave it in her hands.

    The whole cut and colour took over 4 hours and ended up costing me $180, twice the price I was quoted plus I was late for my brother's wedding because it took so long. The end result was the cut and the colour looked nothing like the picture I had showed the hairdresser, a very disappointing experience and I wouldn't recommend them at all.

    "I went for a hair cut here before and was very very happy. I went there again to hear that the lady has gone back to her country so accepted to be serviced by another hairdresser. I did not wait too long but wanted some highlights. They did not come out as blonde as I want (I have virgin hair, it should be easy to go blond) they were too much and not as shown per a picture. They took forever to be put in and the hairdresser kept dropping the foils. She was short and made my sit so low on the chair I could not even see myself in the mirror.

    It was then rinsed with icy cold water.

    Then she cut my hair I wanted a layered bob, shaved at the back in neck, not a school girl sqaure bob cut. She did not pay attention to the picture shown at the start and did not know how to do the cut at all. I felt like I am her student. She eventually called someone else who then did a great job although still not happy or maybe I was just so upset at this time. I am almost due for labour and got tired of sitting. I had a migraine going home, the music was too loud.

    Overall the friendlyness was good, I got offered a cup of coffee too. I was not charged though what I was told it would be.

    "I explained that I would like layers all over, concentrated more heavily at the top in addition to a noticeable fringe on the side. I also kindly asked if my hair volume could be thinned out as I had not cut my hair for a while. What I got was no thinning out, a poorly looking fringe that can hardly be noticed and an attempt in a layer on one side of my hair which is completely uneven. The other side of the front of my hair was not even touched. I was hoping it would look better once I straightened it, but when I did so I was only proven that this was a complete waste of time and money. I actually waited much longer than the time I spent in being served. The overall service took maximum five minutes despite the fact that my hair was below my shoulders to begin with.

    The hairdresser only asked me once if I was satisfied (during the beginning of the cut). When I asked for my fringe to be more noticeable she did not take any measures and carried out the same action as before - merely making a cut. It seemed like regardless of what I was saying she had her mind made up.

    As someone who is paying for a service, one would like to be served with patience instead of being made to feel like they are bothering the employee by requiring a service for money! I could not wait to leave due to feeling rushed and uncomfortable.

    I am never going back to that place again.

    "All I went in for was a trim, but ended up with a very uneven and extremely short hair cut. The hair dresser did not communicate very well what she was doing, she just did it, then explained later. I confronted the manager (Very unhappily!!!) she made a horrible situation much worse by not listening to me, but backing up her company. She did not offer anything to correct the situation, but she felt she had a right to be in my face, yelling at me outside her shop! Not good customer service at all!"
