"I didn't know what to expect as I have not used Matt before, but he lived up to all my expectations. Matt always turned up on time and left the site tidy each day. He knows his stuff and is very particular about how things should look. He gave some very good advice and I am very happy with the end result. He is very precise and does not cut corners. His work is of a very high quality and I cannot fault it. I will be using him again and I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to do any… renovations around your house."

"Matt did an excellent job on what turned out to be a complex alteration on our 1920s bungalow. His advice kept in balance the economics and character of the house, always in our best interest. Doesn't cut corners (other than on wood of course), is an excellent communicator and helped us understand our own vision for the build better! Will definitely use Matt's services again."

"We needed to build an opening for a wardrobe in the master bedroom. Matt did an excellent job at it. So much that when our wardrobe company saw the opening they took Matt’s contact details so that they could refer their clients to him. "We had damaged polycarbonate roofing that needed to be removed and replaced with brand new Suntuf roofing, and a gate that required fixing. Matt completed both tasks very promptly and efficiently with a very high degree of workmanship for a reasonable price. We found Matt to be very easy to talk to, professional and extremely knowledgeable regarding his craft and would highly recommend Matt to anyone who required a top ranked builder."

"Matt spent 3 days fixing up various issues on my garage relating to water tightness, including work on the weatherboards, garage door, and windows. His work is of a really high quality, his communication is great, and the price was reasonable. I'd definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone. Very happy all round!"

"Matt installed all finishing lines in two bedrooms, theater room, laundry, ensuite and staircase. The quality and precison of the work was outstanding. The job was bigger than Matt was expecting as we had a lot of tricky cupboards and beamed ceilings but Matt carried out the job with positive attitude and was always a pleasure to deal with. I highly recomend Matt for any building work as he takes his time to make sure the job is done to a high standard."

"Matt came back and replaced the fascia on 2 corners of my house which were badly in need of repair and had to be done before Winter sets in. He also organised the scaffolding and sub contractor for a separate job on my house, which took the stress from me and I am ever so grateful to him. He is helpful, informative and keeps you up to date on the progress. This is the 2nd job that Matt has done on my house and I would highly recommend Matt to anyone enquiring on a builder. "

"Matt was terrific, a great problem solver. We have a lovely old villa in Herne Bay that has its own eccentricities including some French doors which now work beautiful. "Matthew had a challenge ahead of him in replacing a very old 70s back porch that was disintegrating. He replaced it with a very solid well built new one, which I am so thrilled with, his workmanship is faultless. He also did an extra job for me while he was here in removing a very difficult kitchen cupboard which was a bonus. He arrived when he said he would, plus always kept in touch with updates on the job. I'm very happy with Matt's workmanship that I have booked him in to do another job for… me in the next week or two. Thank you Matt.."

"When looking for a builder I noticed Matt's name was recommended by quite a few people on the local Facebook page. I gave him a call and got him around to do a few odd jobs, but ended up keeping him here for seven weeks working on our tired 1930's home. Matt got stuck in straightening and levelling things up, cutting out rot and bringing the old girl back to life. He is very knowledgable about old houses and found affordable ways of fixing things rather than just replacing absolutely… everything. I found him to be honest, reliable and would be happy to recommend him to everyone."

"I engaged Harrison Construction to do some work on my mothers house including putting in 4 new windows and associated fittings as well as replacing guttering that had seen better days. Matthew co-ordinated his work around the fickle August/September Auckland weather to minimise disruption to mum as much as possible during the works and provided excellent communication throughout the process including around the unforseen building issues that arise on any building project. If you need building… work done, I highly recommend that you contact Matthew."

"Mathew from Harrison Construction did a superb renovation to a bed room in the corner of our Parnell home.
Mathew had a task ahead of him as I have high expectations, and also considering it is a 70 year old home.
Two external walls had to be pulled apart, new framing had to be packed to match old, new aluminum joinery fitted to tight tolerances then new jib internally.
On finishing of the plastering and painting, all surfaces and joins were perfect. Lines are straight, good to the eye.… External window flashings and scribes are exact with very little or no filler required. Mathew would say, why rely on silicon when you can make it perfect.

Mathew was a pleasure to work with, hardworking, timely and very tidy.

We believe we paid a fair price for a superior job.
