"We are so glad our friend recommended HEK Tiling to us. We were not so lucky with trades to hire before. To be honest HEK Tiling was the best experience we had them to lift-up old tiles, prepare, grinder the whole area, waterproof and lay large format tiles to our balcony. "Ali & his team from Hekmat Tiling renovated both the bathrooms in our apartment - one of which was visibly failing (water leaking) as a consequence of the original work failing and the other beginning to deteriorate in terms of waterproofing also.
Quotes for both bathrooms were detailed. Communication with Ali was excellent. The work was scheduled to meet our needs. The team worked quickly and tidily and, when (the inevitable with renovation work) "issues" arose, options were presented and things resolved easily. I'm not an expert but the waterproofing materials and process used by the team has me confident that leakages won't be a problem again.
We would happily use Hekmat Tiling again in the future but, hopefully, won't have to!"

"Quite a shoddy job-tiles not straight and larger gaps at top of tiles wall made worse by grout being left in the basin tap (easily fixed) but of more concern was the bath pipe being blocked by Grout left resulting in the tap and timescale needing to be removed to unblock-needless to say not by this outfit who refused to respond. Would never use again and not recommend to anyone .
Real poor show all round."

"Ali’s team tiled a bathroom using Winckelmans Victorian tiles. The Glasgow pattern was used. These patterns are complex, being made up of hundreds of individual tiles. It takes great skill to lay these and it is not a job for the home handyman. The retailers state that only few highly skilled tilers can lay these tiles correctly.
I can say I am delighted with the result of the work undertaken by HEK tiling. The work was excellently executed and within the agreed budget. Use this professional firm if you want top quality work at an affordable price."

"I would highly recommend HEK Tiling LTD.
Firstly communication with Ali was excellent, very prompt with emails and phone calls and his advice on sealing our tiles reassured us as to how to do the job properly.
Secondly, Ali took the time to help us choose the right grout...he brought along samples the day before, and provided advice around the right grouting system.
Lastly, the installation was a smooth process without any problems. The tiles we chose were herringbone mosaic, so not easy, but seemed to be no challenge to HEK tilers. The finished look is exactly what I wanted...really pleased and would definitely use them again. Thanks, Ali and Team."

"Ali went out of his way to help us get our shower sorted (which was only going to cause more damage if being used in its old state). It needed the substrate demolished, new substrate and membrane

"I first contacted HEK tiling last year when we began our kitchen and laundry renovation to obtain a quote for the white subway style splashback tiling. We were finally in a position to book this in this month and Quwat and Ali were happy to honour the original pricing. Communication was prompt and friendly and all my questions were answered well. I even had them supply the tiles as the price they quoted was the same - if not less than I would have paid retail. The job was completed within approximately 4-5 hours and has been done to a very high standard. I can’t fault the job done and am extremely satisfied with how painless and cost effective the whole process was. I highly recommend HEK tiling. We are based in Upper Hutt and paid around $30 in a travel cost. Well worth it for a job well done."

"Hek Tiling recently completed a large amount of tiling in our new house. This included a number of exterior feature walls with large tiles, three bathroom floors, showers and walls, most of the floor area of the lower level of the house in wood look tile "planks", and two splashbacks.
It is fair to say that their work finishes off a large part of our house.
Hek Tiling was always easy to contact and quick with responses. They worked seamlessly with other tradies and were very flexible with timing so that they would fit in when needed.
We are very pleased with the look of the completed tiled areas and we are very happy to have Hek Tiling as our tilers.

"HEK tiling was professional, tidy and efficient in dealing with upcoming issues during the job. HEK tiling had a bathroom with walk in shower and a new toilet to tile.
The groundwork was executed in such a way that the Inspector commented on the flawless job HEK tiling did for waterproofing the bathroom area.
The company that installed the glass in the shower could only comment what a beautiful job the tilers ha d done and that the glass wall is complimenting the simplicity of the overall look in the bathroom.
We are very satisfied with the overall result The tiles and the different layout of the wall tiles has resulted in a innovative look.
I will have HEK tiling back for my next tiling job."

"Ali and his brother did a nice job tiling our new bathroom floor and shower floor. Ali was very responsive and made himself available at short notice to fit in with our building schedule - very good considering how difficult it is to get tradesmen in the current market. Pricing was a bit more than market rates but this was offset by quality of the job and quick availability."

"HEK tiling was contracted to waterproof and tile the walls of two wet rooms, a total of 36m2. Each with their own tiling niches.There was a difficult waterproofing detail required at the junction of the vinyl wall turn-up and the wall tiling which they completed with perfection.The shower wet room area in one wet room had irregular edged rectangular listello tiles.
As can be seen we threw a difficult job at them which they completed, professionally, on time, with pride, at a good price and to perfection. I will have no hesitation in contracting them again or recommending them to others.
