"Very highly recommended!
Guy repaved our pathway, about 30m2. He provided a reasonable quote and was able to start the job within 2 weeks. We wanted to put a drain in and had family helping us do that, Guy came on the weekend to chat with us all and help us make a plan. Guy was really accomodating and ended up placing the stormwater pit and connecting the drain, which was such a great help! At the end of the job, Guy talked us through maintaining the paving. Excellent service all around."

He solved a difficult drainage issue on our property as well as relaying and connecting an existing path. "Really glad we hired Guy for this job. Used all that experience and skill to problem solve the tricky bits with odd levels and the like. The end result is some, high quality, beautiful paving - a real craftsman. He knows what products are good, and what products should be avoided too which I appreciated.
Showed up when he said he would, got it done when he said he would. And just generally a decent guy to deal with. Even went into bat for us with the supplier when the prices jumped unexpectedly. Really happy with the outcome."

"Guy laid about 45 m2 of turf blocks for us in January 2022. So that vehicles could be parked off the driveway in winter. Also laid some concrete to extend an existing vehicle parking pad. He did a great job and everything as he said it would be.
Highly recommend him. Also very friendly and easy to deal with. Grass in photo dead as cars are usually parked up for days on it. Thanks Guy"

Guy is very pleasant, and nice and easy to communicate with. He is reliable, always on time, and provides good value for money. It was so easy for me to leave everything with Guy to organise, and I am very happy with the finished work, and very pleased I had Guy to do it. Laying pavers is hard physical work, and Guy did it all on his own, which was impressive. A little disappointed with the effluescence in some of the pavers, as it looks a bit unsightly; but this is not Guy’s fault as he was let down by the supplier, and had to go to extra trouble to source the pavers from elsewhere. I understand that I can remove this effluescence with an acid product, so it can be remedied with a little work on my part."

"Wow! is all we can say. Guy and his team have transformed our boring backyard into a nice tranquil paved paradise. From the moment we meet Guy, he supplied a quote within a few days of arriving on site, was only too happy to answer any questions we had, no matter how silly they seemed. "I asked Guy to quote on laying 40sqm pavers at the back of my property in Mt Eden. Quote came through on time as expected and job was scheduled for a couple of weeks later. Job was completed well within the timeframe and the standard of workmanship second to none, a really professional job.

"Guy built a retaining wall of Keystone type blocks at the front of our property. We wanted this for 2 purposes, to beautify and to retain the front so we could park a car. In the middle of the job we asked for a change to be made. Guy was great about this and did all we asked without a problem. The cost was good and the wall looks great. We would recommend Guy for his great workmanship, good rates, easy to deal with and talk to and his good sense of humor."

"Guy showed up to do the quote when he said he would. The quote was very reasonable for the job and we had to be done. we had several quotes which were comparable but Guy\'s proffesionalism got him the job. He and his worker did the job well and was completed on time as he said it would be. We were never mucked around and he and his worker were professional at all times. We now have a great paved area for the summer and highly recommend Hi Lite Paving."

"I hired Guy for a paving job on the strength of the responses on No Cowboys and i can say that i was very happy that i did. The responses were spot on. there are so many reasons why i would recommend Guy but the most important was the quality of his work. Other reasons include the reasonableness of his costs, his reliabilty and his flexibility. i had to change the start date at the 11th hour because the delivery of the pavings (from a third party) were delayed. Guy was completely fine with it and accomodated me in terms of the new start date. 10 out of 10."
