  "Absolutely destroyed my V8. DO NOT USE. Drove it there with some compression issues, towed it away. They refused to diagnose at their expense and stated they KNEW it had been cooked. Have just had the heads back from Engine Rebuilders in Auckland and guess what? Heads were PRISTINE, NO SIGN of overheating, no warping no damage no burned valves. So what did Hopman Motors do to my car? Looks like they have faulty crystal balls. I will get it back on the road one day. Local reputation… is crap but I didn't know that before. They lied to tribunal about what time i took it there, who worked on it and what they did. Don't use these cowboys."

  "I would like to thank the staff at Hopman motors for taking on a job that another mechanic had completely stuffed up! Hopman motors picked my car up from OK Motors after it had been sitting there for 5 weeks unable to start after a standard cam belt replacement. They were willing to go out of their way to help me out. 2 days & my car was up & running ready to be picked up. The service was efficient & communication was outstanding. I highly recommend their service. "

  "We annoyingly ran over a nail which punctured our tyre. We went to Hopmans as it was closest to where we were at the time, and even though they were close to closing they repaired the tyre for us within 20 minutes and the cost was very reasonable. The mechanic was very friendly and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again. A big thumbs up !"

  "Great communication throughout service, car required a few repairs that I believe were very reasonably priced. But......
  Unfortunately after my car had been there for 6 days I discovered a small dent within 24 hours of getting it back. A clear obvious fresh dent in an awkward place was deemed 'a dent that could have been there for months' by the Hopmans employee (possibly foreman).
  Very difficult to prove that the damage occurred while in their workshop but anyone collecting their car from… a mechanic and discovering a fresh dent after they had it for 6 days would not appreciate a 'could be an old car park dent' comment.
  
  I took my car to a panelbeater the next day and was told that it was a 'no brainer' that the dent was extremely fresh. But as Hopmans have already denied doing it, how can I prove they did?
  
  The very least Hopmans could have done was agree that there was a high chance someone there damaged it given the amount of time they had it and the freshness of the dent. They could have offered to pay 50% of my insurance excess. But nope, nothing......
  
  Needless to say, I won't be going back there."

  "i found these people quite rude and differcult to deal with.... definitely as they made me feel uncomfortable thus i WILL NOT be using these idiots again (dosent surprise me that they are not registered) as weel as i will not be recomending them to anyone!!!!"

  "I always get a friendly service when i take my car there and knowing that if any work has to be done reasured that they know what they are doing while i wait

  I also travel from the other side of town to get the wof and service done as i would like to go to any other garage

  and they really look after their customers"
