    "Can I give Zero stars? Terrible! Avoid these cowboys. Took four visits (four days off work) to diagnose the problem with our dishwasher. Ended up replacing a valve ($30 part) which resolved the issue but costs us more like $300 with all the repeat visits. The tech told me that we would not be charged labour for additional visits as these are classed as call backs. Wound up being charged the whole hog. My dishwasher was 2 months out of warranty but when I questioned my rights under the consumer guarantees act I was fobbed off and told to speak to the manufacturer (although they recommended I don't bother because they are so hard to deal with). All in all a very poor and expensive service. I can't stress enough that you should avoid this business at all costs."

    "A real 100% example of a cowboy business.
    I called to book and explained what the problem was with my washing machine that was not turning off/electric gone.
    When they came for the "service" the employee did not even look at the machine as without electrical it was not possible to be tested, told me it would cost me $900 to repair so better to buy a new one and he had already a website ready on his laptop to propose latest "bargain" or pay the call fee...
    He took the measurements but when they came to install it they realised it was too big for my place so they had to take it back. While moving in and out the WM and trolley they damaged also my property.

    At the end I had to pay $90 for the ""service" otherwise I had to apply to dispute tribunal with all the waste of time involved. My advice, and is sad that this type of company is allowed to work, is to never call this company even if you are desperate as they will make you more.

    "I would not recommend using this company. The serviceman that arrived came on time (which is good) but provided me with misleading advice about my oven. He basically advised that it was a fire hazard as it was getting quite warm/hot on the top/sides and there was no insulation between the top of the oven and the elements and I should probably buy a new one (he did then look up a company website to show me ovens and he could sell me one etc). As it turns out this brand of stove/oven doesn't have insulation and it does get warm/hot but there are some tests and checks that should be done to ascertain that the temperature is okay and to confirm it is within the AUS/NZ Standard, one thing to be checked is also the door hinges are correctly functioning etc. Very misleading advice and I will not use them again. The serviceman was polite and he did come when he was supposed to which is usually a good start but the advice was incorrect."

    "I had a good experience with IA. I booked in the job, they turned up as agreed, and the job was done quickly.

    I previously had another supplier not turn up for the job as agreed, so was happy that they did the job promptly and got the oven fixed for my tenants.

    Job done as agreed and the cost was reasonable. Recommended.

    "Avoid at all costs. I needed a standard F&P kitchen extractor fan repaired. Over a two month period they missed 4 appointments, and misdiagnosed the problem once. Two months after contacting them they still hadn\'t fixed the fan. After 2 months I told them I was sacking them so I could find someone who would actually do the job. The owner could not see that he had let me down and that his business was at fault. In fact he blamed me! Absolutely twisted. So frustrating! I refused to pay the bill. He referred me to the debt collectors for a $160 bill. I was willing to go to court over it for the principal of the matter and to teach him a lesson. Eventually the debt collectors were called off and he wrote off the bill. All this went on right as we were having our first child, certainly didn\'t need the extra stress."

    "I don\'t know how they are in business!

    I received a voicemail Friday afternoon to confirm a time on Monday to check my faulty dishwasher but when I called back on the weekend they weren\'t open so I also left a voicemail saying Monday is fine and to please call me with a time to make sure I could be home.
    Monday at about mid day I called and asked where tech was as ive heard nothing! - I was told she will contact me back after talking to tech and didn\'t know why he never contacted me yet.

    4pm I called again asking why nobody has arrived nor have I received a call back as promised! - Again I was told she will call me back after talking to the tech!

    -Received a call back saying tech is very busy but he will try be there by 5pm!

    5pm He arrived and had a quick look at the dishwasher to confirm the model number etc and said he believed he had a part in the office he needed (Pump) and could possibly complete the job on Tues.

    I confirmed any time in the week is fine! they only need to call me and confirm the time prior to arriving to make sure I could be home.





    Monday... I called again only to be told they need to call me back!

    I received a call back saying that the job notes say they are waiting for me to confirm a time to complete repair!

    Now they say they might be able to do it this Tuesday!

    Think they are a waste of time and I will try get another company who is more willing to help.

    "Dreadful company to deal with. Waited all day for tradesman to turn up after being told they could not give me a time. Phoned twice and told he would be there shortly. Never arrived til after 5pm. Repairman had poor communication skills. Left after \"fixing\" the dryer. Left saying the issue had been fixed. Used it and it did not work. Unfortunately paid my money!!! ($165) He returned 2 days later to inform me it needed a new motor. had I been given an indication of what the problem could be would have simply purchased a new dryer. Phoned the company. No apology or understanding. Said they would phone back about the money. Waited 9 days and phoned. No apology, rude, - said it could not be expected the tradesman should stay after 5.30pm to test whether it worked!! I will never use this company again. They are trading on the good name the company used to have. NOT RECOMMENDED>"

    "BAD BAD BAD, ABSOLUTELY BAD SERVICE. they not only didnt repair my fridge but charged us 320.00$ from another client!!!!! they left us without money, without fridge for weeks, demanding that the other client would refund us!!!! they even treated so bad speaking on the phone when we rang several times to ask about our money back. and they are still expecting me to pay 90$ for the call, for those 10 mins in which their weird guy forced me to give him the credit card \"as a precaution\" promising to not charge it till after contact me about the entire cost.
