"Great service. Very competitive price. They use contractors to undertake the work. The ones I got were great. Friendly and treated my belongings with care. Nothing broken. Not the most time efficient I have used before, but still finished job within my expected max time and budget. "

"We were moving a from one two story houe in the centre of town to another two story house . The truck arrived slightly early, the three guys worked steadily, the house was unpacked in less than three hours. The pack in to the new house went same in reverse, they were helpfull, polite, careful and extremly hard working!
This moving experience was the best, couldn't recommend them highly enough. Denise & Chris "

"Great job thanks Rob. Completed within the time allowed - no breakages. Good communication, friendly even jovial (must have been the cream buns for smoko!). Arrived before the new house keys and had all the outdoor stuff unpacked and stored by the time we got the keys. Highly recommended."

"I would NOT recommend kiwimove. Despite me confirming the day before, the truck didn't turn up. When I rang I was told there had been a mix up and I would have to wait for another truck to finish another job. Due to the late start we had more traffic to deal with.
When they finally did arrive the guys were friendly but not at all professional and not very careful with our things. No eftpos on board as promised. Would not use this outfit again. "

"Unreliable, arrived an hour late without letting me know. Left dirty unremovable stains on the furniture. Robert mentioned eftpos payment was an option, but contractor had no eftpos machine, so I had to look for an atm. "

"Would NOT recommend, email from Robert the Manager outlined payment methods credit card being one of them. Then to find out that this was not the case with the subcontractor and had to leave the site as we just got the furniture into the apartment to find an eftpos machine to pay them!
Also, hired a third man for 40 bucks an hour and two out of the three man only had one arm, this certainly increased the load and unload times. Appreciate we were moving into an apartment and they did carry a… sofa up stairs as it would not fit in the lift . However, we had a lift blocked off for the entire move for rest of furniture. Not happy with $1040.00 bill!!"

"Contact was made at 5pm on a Friday due to the 'no show' of City Movers. Robert was really helpful on the phone and had all our details as I had previously emailed to see if Kiwimove were available on the 29th, but unfortunately this was not the case.
The 2 guys who moved us were terrific! Professional, friendly and helpful. We had a small hiccup which they were able to fix. The truck turned up early and the job was completed within the time that was quoted before to us.
I was really… impressed with the service and would highly recommend this company.

Robert did say he would text a conformation, but this did not occur. This would be the only criticism I have."

"DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!!
The website is totally misleading. They over-promise and under-deliver.
They turned up an hour late because of a flat battery in their wreck of a truck.
They wanted me to pay for their diesel because they had no money - I'd already paid upfront.
They broke down 10km from where they were supposed to be delivering.
No-one told me what was happening.
They arrived 4 hours late and dumped everything in the garage.
They left their abandoned truck outside my new… neighbour's house for weeks.

Stress, stress, stress.

Never again with these jokers."

"Do not book these guys. I phoned and booked Kiwimove to help me with my removals. I got call at 7.40am on the morning I was moving, and was told he "couldn't be bothered to do the job". The most unprofessional outfit I've come across in New Zealand. You just don't DO that to people guys. If you can't be bothered, then don't accept the job. You dropped me right in sh#t."

"We booked a rival company for the job one month inn advance. I rang them AFTER their advised arrival time to be told that we would not be getting a truck that day! Not happy!!. My wife rang KIWIMOVE and they were able to comme and see us at extremely short notice to do the job :) The contracted removal guys (Tom and Moana) were excellent. On time, courteous, patient and friendly. Very happy. Many thanks Mrs for finding them!!"

"Damaged the single item in transit, take no responsibility or ownership for damaging goods.
Didn't arrive at the time I had originally organised.
Staff lie to cover up their failings, try and turn the blame on to the customer. If you want your property mishandled and a terrible wait for no compensation or repair then this is the company for you....

"Fantastic job, quick, organised, polite and friendly crew. Wrapped all the essential furniture( tv, couch, glass cases) in protective covers and just marched on until done. I could pay the invoice on the truck...wasy-as.
Afterwards I was able to add a few more boxes to the storage units where my stuff is stored. No prob, they had it all opened up when I arrived.
Now I am waiting for the day I can call them to say when and where they can deliver my stuff.
Kiwi Move came to my rescue at… the eleventh hour too. People in this business need to be organized, and cope with stress but those they are mowing are about to lose the plot.......Kiwi Move were excellent and took a lot of panic away."

"Communication within the company is terrible. Truck arrived late, never got a phone call.
Biggest joke was one of the workers was wearing a leading competitors uniform, and was seen by this company working on the Kiwimove truck and was advised to remove the shirt. This young man was rude and vile and the only reason he removed the shirt was due to the driver telling him to.
The standard of care was pathetic. I will never use them again and highly advise others to stay well away"

"TOTAL COWBOYS!! Dont even consider using them unless you are happy to have your walls/furniture damaged by their sloppy lazy movers. They will deny any accountability for damage done by careless work. Will never use again and will be taking further action against them. Dont waste your money on these unprofessional cowboys."
