"Lockhart Construction completed two jobs for us last year. The first was redoing an exterior wall that was causing us grief over a leak. The second was double glazing a number of windows and doors in our house. Both jobs were completed at a high level of quality and any issues that arose were quickly resolved. We couldn't be happier with how our house is looking now and no doubt will engage with Lockhart in future for other jobs.

"we had a complex engineering design that was consented as it was 3m high. Stan and his team prepared the site excellently and ensured it was safe for our young family every day. The site was always immaculate;. Workmanship was exceptional, every aspect of the work was carefully measured, accurately done and a joy to watch. "The Lockhart team have done an amazing job giving us a new bathroom and ensuite. They also installed a new toilet and high pressure hot water cylinder. The new bathrooms are amazing and the journey was stress free. Lockhart are a highly professional well oiled machine. Everything happened as scheduled. The team were very pleasant and friendly and showed exceptional patience for the family dog who loved to bark at them.
We look forward to working with them again at some stage when we get around to the next project. Highly recommended."

"Stan, Richard, Tuku and others all helped out on my job. It was done early and in the two weeks Stan had promised, in spite of some awful weather and sickness in the team. (We are talking an outside job in the middle of winter!)
The job was done to a good specification and the team left the space really tidy afterwards.

"We employed Stan from Lockhart Construction to build a deck and patio area and to concrete our driveway. He did an incredible job - far beyond what we expected or imagined. He also provided us with helpful advice along the way and was flexible and easy to deal with. He and the team always had a smile on their face - even when they worked some long days in gross weather to finish the job, whilst maintaining the highest standard. We're so happy that we've already asked Stan to come back to replace our roof in a couple of months"

"Stan and his team were fantastic. The quote was very reasonable and the subsequent cladding work was highly organised and began promptly. Stan made sure that all the cards fell into place with arranging scaffolding, electricians, heat pump techs, plumbing and materials. Despite rainy periods, it was all done to the time frame and the clean-up was like they had never been there. The building looks great and I am impressed with their attention to detail - If we need more work done in the future I know who we are calling on!"

"I have used Stan twice.

Once to replace my large deck which was completed on time and on budget -considering there were several factors to be taken into account. I found Stan to be not only a great builder, but also a great communicator and I was always kept up to date on the job. The deck is brilliant and people have commented on the workmanship.

Second time was to look at a leak in my daughters bedroom - I had no idea how big the job was or the damage it may have caused. Stan came up and found the cause of the leak and sent me a video showing how water was entering the room and also a diagram of how it would be fixed .. once again brilliant. He gave me a start date and that day he came up and fixed the problem - no more leaks!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stan to anyone needing a solid reliable, trustworthy builder. He's also a really nice guy to deal with."

"We employed Stan from Lockhart Construction to install new double glazed windows throughout our entire house. He completed the work to a high standard and we are really happy with the finished product. It is such a treat to have a double glazed house and Stan did a great job installing the windows imported through Thermascreen. He worked with us and provided ideas of how the finished frames (interior and exterior) would look and delivered on those ideas.
Stan was very professional, he left things neat and tidy every afternoon when he went home and worked respectfully around our family."

"Stan for Lockhart built a mezzanine floor for us, which is one of three we have had built over the years. The thing was built in a matter of days, was up super fast, well built and also featured some changes we made after some sensible suggestions. The price was also significantly less than the other floors. Showed excellent planning, workmanship, general efficiency, I'm impressed and have booked them for a weeks work at home as well."
