"Mark arrived on time and even brought his own towel to wipe his shoes before entering the house as it had been raining. He quickly diagnosed my dishwasher and repaired the fault. He even cleaned the filter for me and also gave me a quick lesson on how to use/take care of it. Whilst he was here I asked him to take a look at the fridge light and he replaced the bulb! Excellent service, definitely would use him again and highly recommend to others. "

"Mark was very professional and knew straight away what was wrong with my washing machine. I nearly lost hope as their were no parts for my f&p washing machine which i was also told by another appliance repairer before contacting mark that there were no parts available anymore in nz but luckily he found a way and was meant to come back 2 days after with the parts as it was now late afternoon on a saturday but he made time to come back on the same day and repaired my washing machine, special… treatment which I call it and it's rare to find someone like him. A very well liked person who is honest and gives good advice. I highly recommend mark to anyone and will defintly use him again in the future . All the best Mark and thanks again !!"

"I have used Mark for more than 10 years when he came one Xmas Eve and fixed my oven so I could cook Xmas dinner. He has serviced our appliances ever since. He is friendly, efficient and his charges are reasonable considering you are getting a first class job . Office staff are lovely and go out of their way to help. "Fantastic service. Mark's knowledge of our brand of washing machine meant he was able to service it quickly and very efficiently. After initially replacing an expensive electronic control board, he checked again and found another problem and took the trouble to check again which resulted in him removing the new board and reinstalling the old one saving us a significant amount of money. Highly recommended."

"Mark was very prompt in his service and communicated quickly that our dishwasher was broken beyond repair. He quickly offered to sell us a new one through his contacts. When I bought a new one myself, I rang the office to say we won't be buying a machine through Marks Appliances and asked for an invoice for the call-out and labour first incurred. The person in accounts was very rude; abrupt and condescending, not hiding her frustration with me at all. "

"Was looking at throwing away the antique F&P dishwasher and getting a new one in. Mark came in and literally revived the machine and saved me about $500-$800 off the budget. Plus he also provided handy instructions on how to use the machine properly in the future for free. If you are after a dishwasher guru who has the ability to vitalise antique machines and are extremely professional to work with and fun to talk to, this is the guy. Highly recommended. "

"This was the fourth time that we have used Mark's Appliance Repairs and once again the service was excellent. There was a slight delay in securing the new bottom element for the faulty oven (not Mark's fault) but once delivered the repair was carried out without delay. "Marks Appliance Repairs is simply The Best! We are currently renting, and for over a year now we have been having problems with our oven, we have reported to the landlord the problem and they had sent out about 5 different electricians throughout this time to 'fix' the problem, they would spend about an hour 'fixing' the oven, told us the job was done and everything was good to go! Sadly that was not the case at all.
Today Mark came to the rescue and got the job done within 10 minutes!! We… are so happy with his work that we would definitely reccomend Marks Appliance Repairs to everyone! Lovely customer service also! Thank You Marks Appliances!!"

"My faith has been restored!
Rang and spoke to the lovely Lynn on a Wednesday night to book in my oven repair. Brett arrived as agreed and investigated what the problem was with my oven. Unable to pin down the exact problem, he removed my oven, took it to the workshop (on a Friday), and along with Marks ran it all night, testing it, then returned and re-installed it on a SATURDAY! Yes, a Saturday. I am over the moon.
It has restored my faith, that there are people out there doing the best… job possible, sadly they are few. I'm so pleased I checked "No Cowboys" and contacted Marks Appliance Repairs to fix my oven. Will be adding them to contacts for any future repairs for sure. Reasonable cost and absolutely amazing service!"

"Mark came around today as my Dishwasher was having "issues". It was a bit concerning at first because the number of beeps it was doing was considered by Mark as unusual but he wasn't deterred and looked into what it could be before he came. When he arrived it still didn't quite line up with what he thought was wrong then found out it hadn't been cleaned internally for a long time.(in fairness to me i had cleaned the areas i thought safe to clean). After quite sometime of vigorous… cleaning(in areas i didn't think i was allowed to touch) and a number of test runs all was back to working perfectly. He even showed me a product that made the stainless steel shine. Thanks Mark for the "motherly" talk on how to properly clean a dishwasher and other suggestions about the dishwasher powder i was using. Thanks for thinking "outside the box" and finding a simple answer. I now have a very happy,clean,sparkly dishwasher that actually completes its cycle. :-)"

"I assume the person who came to service my Parmco side riser extractor was a member of the Marks family.
He was most efficient, generous in his explanation of the problem and above all the service was excellent.
He did what he said he would do in a friendly efficient manner.
I shall certainly be contacting them again should I need my appliances attended to in future.

"I recently acquired a dishwasher and it would not drain. I rang several companies but I chose Marks company as it advertised in our local Howick Times with a picture and his wife promptly returned my call with a very reasonable call out charge and was able to see us the very next morning. Mark arrived promptly at 9:30 and was the ultimate professional getting straight to the job with no nonsense but still conversational. What you get from Mark is someone who knows their way around appliances be… it dishwashers, hobs, ovens etc but you get an added value service. I was so impressed with the speed at which he operated and the attention to detail. The problem turned out to be plastic caught in the pump and that fact that it was too tight and he removed the foreign matter and then tested the pump. He tested the appliance once everything had been put together just incase and then the job was completed with no mess, no dramas and he then stated that should a problem arise he would come back and recheck. As he was writing his invoice (which was a very reasonable charge considering how much time he spent giving me extra value information) we discussed the hob and oven and he proceeded to tell me how to keep the electric hob clean and to remove the grease..a bonus for me..Mark you were great and I really appreciate you fixing my salve..my husband will probably be your biggest fan now..I wish all tradies were more like you ...Totally and utterly recommended.."

"Two separate problems. Badly leaking plumbing under waste disposal and a faulty spin cycle on the washing machine. I picked Mark's when I saw the 'No Cowboys' icon on their website, called the office and left a message to call me because it was a weekend. Lynn called me Monday, arranged a time and Brett duly arrived. He fixed the waste disposal, assessed the washing machine and recommended we replace it. I ordered a washing machine that was delivered the following day and Brett returned to… install it. Extremely good service and I highly recommend their services."

"Excellent service! Showed up right on time, knew exactly what the problem was with my dryer and had all the necessary parts on hand to complete the job quickly and efficiently.
New capacitor and bearings, checked that everything was working well, including a safety check - $129.00 inc GST all up, including the call-out fee, which I felt was very reasonable.
While he was here, I also enquired if he knew anything about getting replacement parts for the inside of my washing machine and he… actually went so far as to phone the supplier for me and got all the part numbers and prices for me (all at no extra charge)!

Very friendly Christian guy. Will definitely be keeping his number on hand for any future appliance repairs that are needed."

"Called Marks Appliance Repair for the first time to have a fairly unknown brand but little over a year old dryer repaired. Had the run around from other bigger shops who are selling this but not interested in repairs.
First contact was over the phone I presume his wife handled very correctly asked for the brand and how old the appliance was and got an appointment for the next day as the day I called was Tuesday after easter .
Mark came exactly on the hour which was specified and not as so… many companies delayed or not at all.

Pleasant introduction and got on with the work. found the problem and confirmed that he had the part in his workshop.

Came back that evening at 6.30 pm to put it all together and not let me wait another day.

Is following up for another very old Bosch dryer if a broken door latch still can be ordered.

All in all very good quick and reliable service at a normal price."

"I have just had my stove repaired by Mark of Marks Appliance Repairs, and again he has done an outstanding job of giving my stove a new lease on life as well as checking that it is thoroughly safe to use when he has completed the repair giving me peace of mind.
