    "I can highly recomment the Service Department at NST. We\'ve been using them for 5 years or so and even now that we don\'t have a Toyota we still go there. Have tried a few other mechanics around town and Fraser and the team are streets ahead in my opinion. The Used car sales team on the other hand have been rather less impressive. A request to drive a used Corolla was treated with suspicion and my call was not returned. I think if you showed up with a cheque in your hand you\'d be treated like royalty, but otherwise, not impressed."

    "These guys openly lied to me to try and get me to buy a new towbar from them, I had a 2003 Corolla wagon that was a lease car, it was replaced with a new lease car in May 2006.
    I wanted North Shore Toyota to remove the towbar from the old car and fit it to the new one, they said it could not be done and was going to cost about $600 to out a new one on ( Also cost me about $120 to remove the old one, 6 bolts and remove and refit the exhaust system, they had the car for less than 1 1/2 hours and charged me for 2, there was less labour to fit the towbar and the wiring ) I called Toyota in New Lynn and asked for the part number for the towbar for the 2003 model and 2006 model, guess what, it is the same part number.

    I got New Lynn Toyota to fit my old tow bar and cost me about $80 ( off the top of my head )

    North Shore Toyota maybe good at oil and filter changes but I do not like being lied to.

    North Shore Toyota will never get any of my future business because of this incident.

    "Fraser and his team were fantastic in dealing with my Corolla. I have used AA and other supposedly \"cheaper\" oil and lube outlets but the service I recieved at North Shore Toyota was exceptional and the actual price was cheaper.

    Northing was too much trouble!! My car was even valeted on completion.

    I will certainly return!"

    "We have used North Shore Toyota ever since we bought our car brand new 10 years ago. They might not the cheapest but their service and communication were awesome. A free courtesy car was available on request. The only downside is that they are very busy and the number of courtesy vehicle is limited. Other than that, we are very happy with their service :-)"

    "Couldn\'t diagnose problem correctly at all. Wanted me to pay over $7000.00 for a second-hand replacement engine, . Another mechanic (without the computer technology!) discovered it was a wire that was frayed and causing a computer malfunction. If I had gone ahead with the repairs, and spent the $7000 (+GST) I woulod still have had the same problem. These guys are useless, unreliable, and bloody rude when confronted with the situation. Under no circumstances would I even consider using them - even in desperation!"
