"I've taken my vehicles here for years now. They are friendly, honest and make it affordable. When they have been unsure once, they let me know and recommended a second opinion. I got this second opinion from a place in town and got told it would cost me $1-2000 just to find the problem, like because I'm young and female I'm stupid. They let me know what is going to be needed done for next wof etc. I wouldn't go anywhere else! As for the bad reviews.. stupid people do stupid things and what do they expect to happen!"

"This has been my worst experience ever. Took the car in due to clutch problems. Paid for clutch kit - flywheel Total invoice in the $1,500 range. Informed that they had caused a hole in "a pipe" and would have to return it for repair, car sounded like a friken train. Paid and drove away, carbon monoxide coming into vehicle and I had a four year old with me. Yes I was invoiced for this repair. Went back and this was repaired. Further trouble with the clutch, took it back it to be checked. Informed that it wasn't the clutch but the gear bearing. Noticed that the front panel loose, advised that it was accidentally "scrapped" and to bring back the following day for repair. By the time I got home the whole front panel had dropped. Hubby fuming, opened the bonnet and saw that the front panel had been ripped from the bolts. The panel was just holding on and I am really lucky it did not fall off on the way home. Hubby spent all morning repairing the front panel. Took the car to AE Dix who informed that an $11.00 part was not replaced when they installed the flywheel. The sprigot bearing for $11.00. I had the option of returning my car to these idiots to cause further damage and lie that it required something to be repaired/replaced or pay another mechanics to fix their poor and unsafe workmanship. I choose to use AE Dix and pay for the repairs (it would work out cheaper in the long run), I just hope he doesn't find anything else that they have mucked up. To add salt to my wound it was thought that the car was raised on a fork hoist which "ripped" off the front panel!!! ****** Please take this as a warning DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS****** Are they part of the "No Cowboys group as I will never use any company/business that is registered with this group."

"WOF, broke the handbrake cable during inspection, said it would take 2 days to fix as handbrake cables difficult to locate. Took car to reputable brake and clutch repairer in Whangarei (Lamberts), had cable fixed. Failed recheck at Northend, too much travel. On returning to car found the handbrake lever pulled up to nearly vertical, took all my strength to release it with 2 hands. Will never allow any one from Northend in my car again, will have to have handbrake re-adjusted after being stretched then go for WOF check elsewhere. Was trying to support a local business, won't make that mistake again."
