  Downside, it took a wee bit longer than initially sai but overall excell3nt job , great value for $$$$$ and service one would expect. ThanQ to Gav and the grease monkeys. 100% recommended."

  "The guys here are the only people I'd trust to work on my van. They've been nothing short of awesome since I bought it and the other day they caught and changed my spark plugs just before they munted the engine. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always manage to fit in servicing, wofs, and other bits of work needed doing, whenever it's good for me. Thanks guys!"

  "I came in with what I had been told from other business was 100% not my transmission oil and that it could be my breaks and my transmission or both.
  Talked to Gavin and explained what was going on and said the price the other businesses wanted to just to diagnose the issue. Gavin said without out a doubt it would be my Trans oil and gave me the price for them to fix it - which was cheaper than just the look at it everyone else had quoted! We had come in just before closing but they kept the… shop open an extra half hour to change out my oil (which had been burnt and was causing the issue 100%) amazing service and fantastic quality of workmanship here, I come here for everything now and let my friends know as well. This place is great!"

  "Called in today to replace a tyre (Goodridge that they stock) and quoted $140 and told it should take around 15 minutes. Upon inspection the manager said it was a repairable puncture, which he immediately repaired for free. He could easily have collected the $140 and sold me something I didn't actually need but was honourable enough not to. Will be back to them for all oil changes and servicing from now on. Really impressed with their integrity and service."

  "be careful on those guys who are likely to fail your car WOF with totally wrong judgements, I changed many stuffs incl break bads, oils, bar links, shocks etc but after reviewed by another garage, most of them were found fine with no issue at all

  "I went in for a basic service, and dealt with Mike (the manager). I have used the Riccarton branch of Oil Changers for a few years now for servicing and WOF\'s, and find them great to deal with.

  This particular service, they advised me of the gearbox and diff oils getting pretty dirty in my van, and so I agreed to replace them. They were very thorough about cleaning up afterward, I checked since I\'ve had trouble with that at other garages in the past.

  Great job guys, keep it up!"

  "My diesel truck may not be a showroom classic but it shouldn't be leaving an oil changing with more body damage than it went in with.

  - They scratched the left hand mudguard
  - They dented the back bumper by driving into something
  - They didn't flush the engine as I asked so basically I have to do
  the oil change again.

  Then they had the audacity to say they couldn't give me more than $20 off the bill because the "boss isn't here" !

  Being in CHCH on holiday meant i… could not really hang around to argue the point.
