100%"The night before most people were breaking for Xmas holidays I discovered I had a gas leak, I wasn’t optimistic at all about getting a gasfitter in at short notice and wasn’t looking forward to cold showers nor hosting Xmas dinner without a working stove. 100%"My Smeg gas cooktop took ages for the gas to come through. I researched on-line for a reliable gasfitter & noticed Simon had great reviews, so I texted him. Within a few hours, Simon had replied & said he would call back at a specific time, which he did, to fully understand the issue which he diagnosed over the phone to a regulator. We agreed a time & Simon called before arriving to make sure I was home. I found Simon very efficient & focused on completing the job, which he did… in good time. We also talked about servicing my other gas appliances prior to him arriving & I'm so glad I did as my old gas heater turned out to be a fire risk & needed a good service & clean, along with my water heater. Simon checked in a few days later to make sure everything was OK & then supplied me with an invoice & all gas certificates. About us
Onehunga Gas & Heating are a gas appliance service based company. We also install gas appliances and gas installations. We are good communicators and time keepers.
Simon is a licenced plumber and certifying gas fitter who works with care and can think on his feet.
What we do
We are trained to service all brands of gas fires and gas powered ducted heating systems. We are Rinnai and Brivis factory trained and know their appliances well. We have plumbing qualification and also an electrical qualification that is related to the trades.
Plumbing services are available though we mainly concentrate on gas work
