"WARNING WARNING IMPORTANT!! Please read this feedback to ensure you do not have same issue we had!! Make sure you discuss UPFRONT when you are getting a unit serviced by these guys what they will be charging you for any refrigerant per gram that your unit may require topping up by. Michael had been a bit vague about this from an initial discussion. Michael then topped up our unit with 350g of refrigerant/freon R410a and then proceeded to tell me it was going to cost $5 per gram. Ie a total of $1750!! I was rather colorful in my expression of surprise at this as you can imagine. I quickly did some desktop research and found out this refrigerant (R410a) retails for about 23c per gram (and Michael probably gets it for a whole lot less than this). After further discussion Michael claimed the $5 per gram was an innocent mistake and he meant to say it was 50c per gram for the top up.!!
To me this seemed like a very very big mistake from someone who is daily servicing and topping up air conditioning units and should be totally familiar with the price of refrigerant. (He had at least 2 cannisters in the back of his van!). Therefore I implore anyone dealing with this guy to ensure you clarify up front what any refrigerant will be costing you that your machine may require. Apart from this rather unpleasant and unnecessary experience (which I maybe naïve giving them the benefit of the doubt), I cant fault their overall workmanship."

"Fantastic job done by the OzoneAir team. It's a friendly, yet highly efficient and competitive team that does fantastic work. 🙂
We wanted a heating and cooling solution for the whole house. OzoneAir suggested a ducted system which was quite a challenge to install. Still, they installed it with exceptional attention to details and efficiency of the entire system.
We have 8 zones in the house, each can be tunable to individual temperature. We were trained how to use the system and they helped us create specific automated heating and cooling scenarios based on the time and temperature. On top of that, we can control it all from our smartphones. 😃
Thanks to Ozone Air now we have an energy effective heating and cooling system.

"What an incredible service from Dino and his team. We had to replace all our heatpumps as the result of the floods in January. Dino provided us with a comprehensive quote after he visited the site and asked questions.

His price was very competitive and he identified a product that had a cash back offer, making it even MORE cost effective.

The communication was great and they turned up on time as agreed. After the installation, they tidied up after them and I had to do nothing.

This was a complex installation (6 heat pumps with a total of 3 condensers). All installed quickly and working straight away. VERY happy to recommend them!"

"My old heat pump stopped working in coolest day this year, on friend of mine recommendation I called Dino, after half-hour he came and did full checking and assessment.
Dino found that heat pump electrical board and compressor are not working, he did full quote how much will cost me to fix the problem and also he did a quote for installation of new heat pump.
Both quote were cheaper than previous quotes I got from two different companies.

"We were lucky enough to have some friends recommend Ozone Air Ltd and Dino and his team to us. They had used him to install a heat pump at their property. They said that he was friendly and professional and had advised them on what was the best and most cost effective option for their house.
We called Dino and got him to come and advise us as we did not want to go through another cold winter. Having discussed with other people we thought we would need at least two heat pumps for our large house.Dino turned up on time on the day advised and after reviewing our property he advised us that our best option was for one heat pump in the main living area and Nobo panel heaters in the rest of the rooms as they were being used infrequently. It has not only saved us the extra cost of heat pumps we did not need but has proven to be a much better option.
For the installation Dino and his team turned up on the day and time agreed and just got on with it! Dino and his team are professional, friendly, and adaptable and always kept us in the loop with what they were doing and listened to our requirements.

"I found Dino’s detail on No Cowboys and glad I got in touch with him. We have been living in our property for over 2 years and I wasn’t sure about the state of our heat pump. Dino was prompt in getting back in touch. His colleague Dennis arrived on time and did such an excellent job. He even explained what I needed to do to maintain the heat pump - in terms of cleaning the filter etc and have done handy tips on how to keep the heat pump running at an optimal level. "Installed: 2 Mitsubishi floor consoles piped to 1 external unit (approx. 10m + of external pipework required).

Context: I required an air con solution for the 2nd storey of a new build. Summer is ludicrously hot and winter a little cool. I got 4 different quotes and Dino from Ozone Air was the BEST by far... this is why:

1. He is the actual installer, don't get a salesperson coming at your door from a large company who is NOT the installer.
2. He is a patient person, who takes the time to inspect the property thoroughly and explain everything very well. He will even answer all the questions you think are not so smart.
3. He gave me a solution that took into account it's a new house, so don't want too much physical destruction; do not want an eyesore in terms of external pipework or placement of the unit; AND he has photos of what I assume to be previous installs.

During the install...

Dino and a colleague arrived when the said they would. They were prepared with all required equipment to complete the install. Because of Dino’s patience and willingness to do the BEST possible work, the 1-day install took about 1.7 days. I commend Dino for working through a very gusty day, and coming back to the next day to take care of the final connection and testing of the unit.
Dino did not charge for extra labour or any incidental material use. Instead, he takes pride in his work.

The finished product looks very awesome.
There is a small amount of extra sealing that needs to be done, and Dino is willing to take care of this after sales.

Thanks Ozone Air, Dino and Dennis for the superior solution, professional service and your PATIENCE in making sure this is the right path for me, and the physical install itself.

The quality of the installation was superb. Dino takes the time to think about the best approach to achieve the neatest result. "We needed to raise our outside heat pump unit from ground level to be positioned on the new deck up 500mm. The copper pipes for the heat pump were in the wall cavity and then came out of the external wall of the house. This height was was an easy bend for the pipes as it exited the wall to the unit when it was at ground level, but a very tight bend when raised up to the new deck level. Dino carried out excellent and tidy workmanship for this job, and was able to carefully use his pipe bending equipment to curve the copper pipes to the unit without any splits or cracks. His assessment and knowledge of this situation saved us time and money as he was able to re-position our unit to the existing piping without any problems arising. Dino came for an initial site visit and stated what was involved and when he was able to undertake the work. For us it was a very easy process with great communication, on time and to the price quoted. The heat pump unit re-connection work is now tidier to look at than when it was positioned on the ground. We would definitely use Ozoneair again hence why I am taking the time to comment."
