"I asked Peter at very short notice if he could call by to provide a compliance certificate which I had thought was required for a gas top stove he had installed a couple of years ago. He came round very promptly and checked out the fitting and operation of the stove which, it turned out, didn’t require a compliance certificate after all. I felt I had wasted his time but Peter was very kind and efficient, not at all put out by my mistake and refused to accept payment.
I would recommend Peter… for any plumbing jobs - he is totally reliable and professional."

"We had a leaking shower tap and was concerned it might be leaking into the wall cavity. Dropped a line to PR Plumbing who had helped us out before with a leaking toilet. Excellent job done then. Peter called me on the Sunday and arranged Matt to come at a convenient time. Matt turned up, sorted out a new cartridge, confirmed no internal damage, fixed another small issue and did an excellent job. Definitely recommend him. Took two trips (it was a no-name shower tap so needed to order the part)… and he turned up when he said he would. Explained what he was doing, lubed up all the threads so next time would be easier and tidied up too."

"I used PR Plumbing to repair a blocked waste disposer. A young apprentice arrived and had great difficulty ascertaining what was causing the problem. After more than an hour and continually blowing a fuse due to water leaking into the electrics under the sink, he rang his boss to seek help. His boss arrived and assessed what needed to be done. The apprentice went ahead with the work (a pipe under the house needed to be cut, the blockage cleared and the pipe eventually replaced). The total time… taken was 3.5 hours (including time spent drying out the electrics). Less than a month later, water was leaking from the pipes under the sink which were unscrewed during the apprentice's visit. I will be using another plumber to remedy the situation."

"I needed an after hours plumber at short notice on 22 December after flooding my laundry. I struggled to find a 24 hour plumber who would come out so close to Christmas. "I am so disappointed by the service I have received from PRPlumbing. PR Plumbing installed 2 toilets and 2 vanities into our rental property. The house had been refloored and painted and the next step was the new toilets and vanities. They seemed to have trouble right installing them from the beginning. Bathroom 1 toilet leaked as the young guy was trying to installing it. He was not qualified but left on his own. During that time they moved the toilet and scratched the brand new floor. Later… that night I went to inspect it and it was leaking again. They fixed it. I then had to contact Peter to try and get the scratched floor remedied. I tried to be reasonable as I know that mistakes happen. We worked that out and Peter agreed to fix floor. But the trouble wasn’t over. 3 months later bathroom 2 floor started lifting up. We got the flooring people in and the tested the room and there was water leaking under the floor by the toilet. Long story short the second toilet had been leaking for 3 months. The walls and floors were water damaged. We had called another after hours plumber and they informed me the toilet had been incorrectly installed. I contacted Peter and he put in a claim with his insurance company. The whole experience was incredibly stressful. The tenant informed me that toilet 1 was making a gurgling noisenow. Before we could fix toilet 2 we need to make sure toilet 1 was working. I called my new plumber who told me this toilet had not been installed correctly and that the toilet type should never have been installed. Since then I have been in discussions with Peter. He came to the property to inspect the toilet. The tenant told me Peter was rude and defensive and she felt uncomfortable in her own house. Peter will take no responsibily and refuses to remedy the situation. I’m so gutted. Don’t use him! The water damage is only being resolved this week -6 weeks later. Peter hasn’t checked in with us to make sure everything is getting done and to this date I don’t think he has said sorry. Again this has been so stressful and I feel incredibly disappointed by the service and lack of follow up I have received."

"Great job. Peter assessed out needs carefully before work started and suggested solutions to problems that had stumped other plumbers. We had 5 different jobs that needed to be done and these were all done well, honestly and to a high standard. the pricing was reasonable. "We are a residential building company and used PR Plumbing last week for a very last minute job when our usual plumber's gasfitter was unavailable at the last minute.
They were absolutely fantastic and were able to get out the same day to connect things up for our client. Communication was great and job well done.
As a building company ourselves we have really high standards for the sub trades we use and we will definitely be using PR Plumbing for all our gas fitting from now on, and for… plumbing where our normal plumber is unavailable."

"Our gas bottles were ripped free of their fittings and their pipes during the bad Wellington storm, leaving us with no hot water. Peter came around within an hour of me calling PR Plumbing services and had them fixed, reconnected and secured very promptly. PR Plumbing have also plumbed in our new infinity and our new kitchen on time, and on budget. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!!!!"
