    "The repair took three days longer than advised. When vehicle was returned to me, there was a crack in the windscreen as well as some scratches in a rear tinted window that didn't exist previously. When I broached the cracked windscreen with the manager, he admitted that they broke the windscreen but advised there would be no remedial work arranged. Peter and his manager were both incredibly rude and took no responsibility despite their initial admitting of fault. It boggles my mind that this business can be run by people with this sort of attitude. I wish I had checked No Cowboys before using them as it appears I'm not the first to experience their idea of "customer service"."

    "After reading some of the comments on this website, I was left wondering if I had done the right thing with taking our vehicle to Peter Simon Panelbeating for repairs.

    I am so pleased with the service we received and the work carried out. The work was completed a day ahead of schedule and to a high standard. The reception staff were very helpful with my questions and also helping me while I tried to juggle car seat, pram and baby.

    I would highly recommend Peter Simon Panelbeating and would definitely use their services again in the future. Although, hopefully I won't need to."

    "Although the repair work on my car was carried out satisfactorily, I would not recommend this company to anyone because of the rude and patronising attitude of Peter Simons. I requested a courtesy car, for which there was to be a fee paid. The car I was allocated smelled very strongly of petrol to the extent that I had to drive around with the windows wide open. The carpets were filthy and stained. The whole car rattled and vibrated and was unpleasant to drive. I rang the office and was told there was no other courtesy car available. I rang back later to speak to Peter Simons himself and he was extremely rude and dismissive. It seemed that listening to a customer\'s concerns was of no importance to him. I arranged to return the car the next day. My husband accompanied me and when we handed the keys to Peter Simons in the office, he was surly, insulted us and then ordered us off the property in a threatening manner. When I finally picked up my own car when the job was completed, I only dealt with the pleasant receptionist. This guy Peter Simons seems to have a lot of work shoveled his way by State Insurance and seems to have forgotten the need for customer service. Avoid this panelbeater at all costs."

    "Very frustrated with the level of service I received form Peter Simon\'s Panelbeating - a job that originally had an ETA of 1 week was delayed and ended up taking two and a half weeks - very disappointing, but these things happen.

    During the repair time the warrant expired, so when the vehicle was collected we immediately took it for inspection. It failed due to the airbag warning light. This warning light was blatantly obvious and should have been noticed.

    The mechanic mentioned that the car should not have been returned to us unless it was fit for inspection. He also noticed many other outstanding issues that had not been resolved by Peter Simon\'s - many of which were also basic errors (Missing trim, damaged grills ect) and a leak in the air condition condenser which rendered the system useless. The car was damaged in a minor nose-to-tail, this should have been a standard repair for a panel beater who advertises themselves as Specialist Accident Repairers. Instead it was 2 and a half months of absolute frustration. Peter Simon\'s constantly denied repair for damage that was obviously an outcome of the nose-to-tail and was very rude and unprofessional to deal with in terms of communication, both via email and face-to-face - to the point where a complaint to the insurance broker and assessor was required to actually get things done. The final repair took 6 days to diagnose and took the car off the road for a further 14 days - while a special airbag part was sourced from Germany. We enquired about the part with local suppliers, all but one confirmed that the item required was readily available in NZ and shouldn\'t need to be sourced from overseas. Again, frustrating to have the car off the road and be refused a loan car due to Peter Simon\'s loan car policy. Even worse when they refuse to allow collection of our own car during the wait time. After two and a half months of constant mucking around by Peter Simon\'s we finally have our car back. To be quite honest I\'m not too sure how that business survives with such poor levels of service. I feel sorry for the assessor - the amount of times he had to book appointments with Peter Simon\'s to sort out the most minuscule issues - what a waste of time for him. Overall obviously I regret using them as a repairer. I\'ve just driven the car home and the front wheels are way out of balance, but given the amount of time and pain required to get this sorted it looks like I\'ll be forking out to get this repaired myself. If you are in the unfortunate position to have issues with Peter Simon\'s have a chat to your insurance company and stand your ground when dealing with Cath. Peter Simon\'s are very resilient to accept responsibility and refuse to provide any sincere apologies. Even better - have a chat to your insurance company and ask about transferring to another repairer. Don\'t make the same mistake we did."

    "The car was in an accident and had a lot of damage. They fixed part of damages and denied to the insurance company the other part was accident related (including the light bulb that was smashed from the impact to the head light!). It cost us extra $400 of our own money from different mechanics to fix the car fully before it was even safe to use on the road. To top it all up, they said the wheel alignment was done during the repair period (2.5 weeks, instead of promised 1 week). 2 weeks after we picked up the car they texted saying the alignment wasn\'t done and we have to take the car back. We will never return to this place and do not recommend it to anyone."

    "I was promised the car will be repaired in a week, it actually took them 2 weeks; the inside of the car was dirty with paint dust everywhere; paint leaked in two places on the door; Overall dissapointed and I would never take my car to Peter Simons again!"
