  "My car broke down on the side of the road leaking diesel like a sieve so I called pit stop glenfield and frazer (the owner) answered,
  so I explained to him what was going on,
  He was more then happy to help he said to get it towed there and they will have a look and see what’s going on with it.
  Well within 10mins of it being dropped to him I get a phone call that it was just a hose that had split (lucky me) I was stoked! I also remembered it needed a warrant in a couple weeks so asked if… he could do that whilst he had it and he was more then happy to do it.
  
  I got a call a few hours later to say all fixed and ready to pick up.
  
  The services they provided was above and beyond and at a very reasonable price.
  
  They have another regular customer now that’s for sure thanks heaps team I will definitely be only using you guys from now on."

  "Charged a fortune to fix the front engine mount and r/r suspension. When we got the car back there was a really loud noise when you turned the steering wheel. The hand brake cable was touching the wheel when the wheel was turned. Luckily when we took it in to takapuna car clinic for the second wof they sorted the problem for free. Not recommended."

  "We use to take all our exhaust work here until the new manager took over, I currently manage a large workshop in Glenfield and it was very interesting to be on the other side of the counter. Took a Honda Orthia there to have a muffler fitted, which we supplied and a 1 meter section of pipe replaced. I had a phone call only once the job was completed so expected the normal fee of around $90 for this job, I was presented with a bill of $290 which on invoice says as quoted.I Brought this up on… pick up and was basically talked to like I was a **** with no negotiation. Left there feeling absolutely gutted, a real **** experience. We have two large workshops and no longer take any work there, go to Midas for exhaust work."

  "The problem I have with these guys is that they didn\'t attempt to diagnose the problem before removing an expensive, original catylitic converter and replacing it with a piece of tube. Once I took it to a proper garage, they diagnosed the problem as the airflow meter and advised me to get the cat converter back (as there was no indication it was faulty). However, by this time it had been thrown away.

  This company may be ok if you say \"do x, y, z\" and you know what\'s wrong with… the car. However, I\'m used to garages finding out what the problem is before doing work. In this day and age, with our cars having sensors everywhere, in my view there\'s no place in the market for \"rip it out and hope for the best\". It just ends up costing the consumer a fortune."

  I have used this Pitstop many times over the years and the result has always been excellent.
