93%"Our plastering job was became bigger than we first imagined when we realised (ourselves) that our ceiling also needed re plastering in a lot of areas. Rolando was more than happy to fit in the extra work to enable us to have our kitchen installed on time. We ended up having almost all our ceiling re plastered and the standard looks very good. We also had the ceiling primed and painted and a good job was done there too. There were a few minor touch ups to our wall plaster but Rolando was quick… to send his man back to complete the job to our satisfaction. I cannot comment on his costs as we did not get any other quotes to compare to, as Rolando was recommended by our builder. 100%"Rolando and his guys did a great job with a specialist product called "Concrete Effects" from Dulux on a couple of feature walls.
There's a real skill to applying this product which requires a combination of paint, plastering and artisan skills. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result, which reflects the quality and skill of their workmanship. Everybody that has seen the textured walls says what a great feature and looks stunning. And who did it!
In addition they… were punctual, easy to deal with and the price was spot on for the work done. I would highly recommend Plastering & Services. Couldn't fault them!

23%"Work completed was not of a good standard, loose gib paper not removed and tried to fill over, a mess really. Came back, I thought they were going to remove and redo, instead sanded and got dust all over our washing machine. For $632 for less than an hours work and the finish, we'll what a waste of money. Firstly, I will agree that the guys did not get it to our usual standard. However the brief, I received from your wife Maria was that all we were to do was cover the holes to a level one finish. All work, was to be covered by cupboards & a splash back. This was done as done and requested. You called me to explain your dissatisfaction with the finish. I then came out & inspected. The job was done as requested. The finish was a bit rougher than I would normally have expected. Still not a major issue as it would have been covered. I then sanded the affected area. Once I had done this, I called you to inspect. Your comment was great, & you still thanked me for sorting things out. As to the cleaning, I Brushed cleaned swept & at the end asked you if I could use your mop to wash the floor. To which your comment was not to worry, as other trades were still coming. I apologise if I mistakenly left a bit of dust on your washing machine. I will say though it could not have been bad due to the amount of sanding and the distance from sanded area to the W/M The price, in your opinion, was too high. The price for small jobs, are what they are. Bearing in mind my time to initially visit inspect the job, then the contractor to come out and do the job. If you felt my price was too expensive, you should not have commissioned us to do the job. If there is any issue we are always happy to meet, with a view to get satisfaction. 98%"Very happy with the work done by Rolando and his team of painters, they did a great job and under the time that they first thought as well, communication throughout was also excellent. my only mistake was that I opted to supply my own paint as I could get a good buy price from Resene, the problem was that it was hard to calculate the amount required as from not knowing what the absorption would be like and I ended up with far too much leftover, so I would suggest to others to just let Rolando… bill you for what he uses at the end of the job as he offered to me. so that was my fault, but at least I will have enough for the next time I get him around.

I had the exterior of the house painted and a couple of rooms that had the wallpaper stripped, then plastered and painted. Rolando even organised for outside steps to be replaced.
