    "I recently needed a seatbelt replaced on mine and my girlfriends car to allow it to pass its WOF. I looked at doing the job myself and was unable to due to a lack of certain tools.
    I asked my girlfriend to call around some mechanics on her day off and get some prices. Quickstop quoted their highest end estimate for an hours labor and reassured her this would be the very worst case scenario. Fair enough, so we went with them and booked an appointment for 4pm that day.
    She had never been to a mechanics and was not sure of the process. Upon arriving she was met with hostility and a sarcastic moron behind the counter. Not the friendly welcoming face, and honest advise advertised.

    She was told to come back in half and hour and asked "if she was going for a jog", this girl could run rings around the moron propping up the desk.

    The garage shut at 5. She got back there at 4.25 and waited in the allocated area. No one approached her to let her know what was going on. At 5pm on the dot (convienently bang on closing time) they appeared and informed her they had to remove the seat to complete the job and that she would indeed be charged the $82.50 high end estimate.

    I was 99% sure that the seat didnt need to be removed to replace the job, so double checked with a friend and they confirmed.

    I truely believe these guys took total advantage of the fact they saw a nervous young women looking for help and advise on her car and charged whatever the hell they wanted. If I had been able to drop the car in myself for her, I sure we would have had a very different story! Absolute **** takers

    "I actually answered the the call myself and I estimated it would take between half an hour and an hour to fit, not having seen either the seat belt which you supplied or the car. I even said that some belts are harder to access than others. I was in the room when she arrived and do not believe there was any hostility at all and and attempt a humour did not seem to work if that was taken as sarcasm I apologise as I am sure it was not intended that way. The Garage does not shut at 5.00 it shuts at 5.30 and the doors were open till after 6 on the day, When replacing a seat belt you should always replace the whole belt both ends, this is a safety issue as the buckles are matched. To get easy access to the buckle end it is easier to remove the seat, 4 bolts. There was no advantage taken of anyone, the job our mechanics are electronically clocked on and off the job it too .92 of an hour and that is exactly what she was charged. If it had been you the exact same process would have happened. The job was done properly the belt fully replaced for your safety, no piss taken. "

    "I have a number of cars which quickstop service.I have been using this workshop for three years now and have always found them organised and only charge for the time it took rather than getting an inflated bill.The office will always ring should there be a problem or delay.We are impressed with the level of service and price and would recomend this car servicing workshop to anybody.     "Worse WOF ever done! They failed my vehicle, I took the car Ti get the garage to change the items that were suppose to replaced and I was so surprised when my mechanic called me and told me that half of the parts requested to replaced were in very good condition! WTF!!! I took the car back to be re inspected without mentioning that I did not replace the parts and guess what!!! They checked the car and issued the WOF label WTF!!!!!! He can you trust I business like that I was told that it was important that the parts were changed quite quickly because it was really dangerous to drive with the car like that!! OMG!!! So not professional business!"

    "We don\'t do Warrants ourself we did not fail this car, VTNZ did, we are the mechanics who tried to help you! we don\'t recheck cars VTNZ does and as stated we don\'t issue warrants for this very reason, This is neither a rational or justified comment about our business we tried to help and saved you money!"

    "I can\'t reccommend Quickstop highly enough. How refreshing to find a mechanic\'s workshop who are fairly priced too. The service and communication were excellent, and it was all completed very quickly and efficiently.
