    "We initially contracted Richard to manage the earthworks and construction of a structural concrete block wall as specified by our architect. Richard, his employees and contractors performed this work as agreed in our contract in a friendly and competent manor. We subsequently requested Richard's team to continue with our project to construct our 90m2 ground floor additions consisting of 2 x bedrooms, 1 x bathroom, 1 x living area, hallways, storage, internal stairway as well as substantial… external decking. The improvements to an existing 1980's hardy board pole house and was undertaken with quality craftsmanship and resulted in an beautiful contemporary home. We are grateful to Richard and his team not only for the final result but the support and communication throughout the project until receipt of councils code compliance certificate."

    "I contacted Richard to investigate replacing the bearer that was rotting down the entire length of one side of my house. After speaking with Richard he promptly came around to assess what the job would involve. After a couple of days he emailed a quote detailing the full extent of work involved which I accepted. This was not a massive job but I wanted a job well done & to meet all building codes.
    So this job involved replacing a bearer, but to do this it was also necessary to rip up the… concrete path that ran the whole length of the house & excavate a little, build a low retaining wall to support the boundary fence and build a decked pathway to replace the concrete path.

    Richard and his team did a fantastic job, were always on time and Richard kept me informed of options for any changes I may have wished to make. Their workmanship was of the highest standard.

    I have no hesitation in recommending R Hatch Builders Ltd to anyone requiring good quality work with a real professional builder.    "

I have experience in all areas of building, particularly residential dwellings from basic single bedroom units and granny flats to multi-level architecturally designed homes. Whether your job is big or small, design and build, additions and alterations or retaining walls and decks you will be pleased with the quality and workmanship I provide. I am fully conversant and up to date with required building codes and practices. In addition I have a team of preferred Registered and Licensed sub tradesmen e.g. roofer, drainlayer, plumber, electrician etc if required on your project.
