"Ramon did an incredible job tiling our kitchen/dining room and repairing our 2 bathrooms. He had great advice leading up to the job, ensured i received a good price with the tile purchase and gave me great advice about ongoing repair. The other tradies commented that Ramon was a 'genius' at his job. He installed a complicated checkerboard tile in a really large space, in a still moving newish build, to ensure the tiles would have a long life and look great for years to come. Ramon was a… fantastic to work with, i highly recommend him and trusted him enough to leave him in my home alone. Can't recommend highly enough. [Ramon was recommended by Tile Space Ellerslie and is not known to me outside of that recommendation]."

"Ramon tiled the floor and two walls in the bathroom and did an excellent job. He was meticulous, levelling the uneven floor and sorting out the walls to do the work to a very high standard. Making sure that the tile patterns went together well and that the floor and wall tiles lined up were just part of his attention to detail. A similar bathroom in the unit next door was tiled a couple of years ago and the tiles are already showing signs of a less than pristine job, which will need more money… to sort out. So glad I got Ramon on the job instead. He told me he probably wouldn't be the cheapest but that I would get a top-notch job, which I did. I think doing it once and doing it right is the way to go – it's the way to get good value for the money. He was also very good at advising me on other parts of renovating the bathroom. Highly recommended."

"We had brought an expensive kitchen refit and Ramon was one of two tilers recommended to us. He is incredibly responsive, meticulous in his work and, as others here have said, has a great work ethic. What he brought to us as well was an appreciation of how it all should unfold. Ramon took us through a complete schedule, how long he would need, when the units should be there, when the electrician and plumber should be booked and how many visits for them. Why the floor should be level, why having… stray plastic hoses loose under units is a bad idea, why a good carpenter to do a fiddly change to the window architraves is hard to find, but leave it to him he'll get one. We've been fortunate over the years to have really good trades people working with us on our house and Ramon is up there with the best."

"Ramon came highly recommended by our builder for our bathroom renovation. His first visit was impressive. He consulted on tiles and finishes with a clear eye for detail and creativity. He tiled our bathroom, floor to ceiling with a marble look tile. All patterns were seamlessly matched. The mosaics in the niches were colour matched with a contrasting grout. Great attention was given to full waterproofing over and above standard quality and Ramon cleaned up after the job beautifully. His… workmanship is outstanding and is becoming well known in the region. I would highly recommend Ramon for any tiling requirements."

"Ramon from Ramon Dings Tiling Ltd was involved on three of my projects: 1) tiling my two bathrooms, 2) tiling my laundry area and 3) tiling my kitchen. He did all floor and wall tiling. We are pretty fussy and were very pleased with the way the tiles were laid out and the neat and tidy manner in which the work was completed. About us
I have over a decade of experience in the industry throughout the Benelux in Europe and New Zealand, having worked for three tiling companies in the Netherlands since the age of fifteen. Here I did my apprenticeship through a Belgian technical institution. With this skill and knowledge, I entered the New Zealand tiling industry in 2015.
At Ramon Dings Tiling based in Auckland, I provide indoor and outdoor tilling, shower base screeds, underfloor heating and waterproofing services on both residential and commercial renovation and new build projects.
In doing so, I collaborate closely with qualified builders, plumbers, electricians and shower glass companies.
With pride in my trade and dedicated quality workmanship that is proven to last for many years, I aim to fully satisfy my customers’ wishes and help turn their dream space into reality.

What we do
My services involve kitchen, foyer, toilet, bathroom and outdoor floor and wall tiling. Aside from flooring and splash-backs on kitchen and laundry benchtops, various wet areas like bath cradles and showers are screeded, waterproofed and tiled with ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass and even New Zealand handmade tiles.
In addition to this, I supply and install underfloor heating and custom stainless steel channel grates. When having these services rolled into one, there is no chance of one aspect failing the other.
