"I contacted Roof Restore on 1 January. David emailed me on the 2nd, visited the site on the 3rd and started the job on the 6th. Couldn't ask for better service. Dave quote for a restore and repaint of the roof plus total replacement of the gutters. Luckily Dave was able to squeeze the job in before starting a bigger job in mid Jan. He explained everything very clearly and I felt confident that he knew exactly what was needed for the job. We were away while he completed the job but he kept in touch with us and I felt very comfortable having him on the property while we weren't there. Once the job was completed, Dave sent us a video walk around of the roof so we could see the details. I have already recommended Dave to two friends and would not hesitate to use his services again. "We started looking for a roof painter August 2023. Contacted several businesses, most of whom did not respond, but also Roof Restore who not only replied quickly but also visited the site and quoted to repaint house and separate double garage roofs. The quote was in line with expectation and was accepted.
Auckland weather in late 2023 caused a couple of delays but Dave kept us informed, and job was eventually scheduled Jan 2024.
Roof Restore turned up dead on the arranged time 8:00am. Movable scaffolding arrived and was installed without hassle. Roofs were waterblasted and surface-sealed on day 1, two top-coats applied on day 2, and final touchup, scaffolding removal and site tidy-up on day 3.
Dave and Sam were easy to get on with and kept us informed. The work was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption to ourselves. The site was left as it was before the job started.
We would certainly use Roof Restore for any future work, and would recommend the company without hesitation.
I would note that we found Roof Restore by searching No Cowboys. The company's very high rating has been shown to have been justified in our opinion."

"David takes real pride in his work, and I highly recommend him and Roof Restore if you need any roof repairs or roof coating done. Nothing was a problem - I needed new barge tiles installed, which was a bit too 'out there' for some companies, and the roof re-coloured and coated at the same time, and for Roof Restore to work around the schedule of the guys who were installing a new guttering system.

His quote was a good price, and covered all work required and a total of 4 coats in his process, rather than the 3 most quoted (for a higher price). David was on site when I needed him to be, and he always arrived at the time he said he would; he was both really professional and friendly at the same time, worked around the weather that Auckland throws up in Springtime, he took great care when spray painting that no spray went to the neighbours' property, and nothing was ever a problem. Job was finished on time and - more importantly - done very, very well.

"My husband found Roof restore on no cowboys, which has always been the best way to get reliable people for us. Roof Restore came around and quoted to replace our gutters but also asked if we wanted the fascia painted while the gutters were removed, something which we did want done, but when getting quotes before could not find a company that did this as well, so we were delighted to say yes please quote for that also. We knew the job would need scaffold, so that wasn’t a surprise, but to make it worthwhile we wanted to keep the scaffold in place for a couple of weeks to get the high parts of the house painted at the same time. David was prompt with the quote, the communication and answered our questions. Upon agreeing all paperwork was done efficiently and he was great at letting us know what was happening when. The job was done exactly as promised and he took care to ensure the guttering was effective and looked good, which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend Roof Restore."

"We had a small job to strip out old makeshift outdoor plywood ceiling panels and install roofing panels and spouting under a deck to provide a dry area for 2x downstairs bedrooms opening out into a garden.

David came over, provided a quote within a few days and the workmanship was fantastic. He talked through options and each step of the agreed plan. "David and Tui were able to get over to check our roof after a plumber alerted us to potential for leaks from unsealed areas around a vent. They sealed several different areas explaining what they did and why. They noticed that our roof tiles weren’t fixed with nails at the correct distances near the apex of the roofline. Tui returned to secure these tiles a few days later. He showed me photos of what he’d done and explained it. Both David and Tui are friendly, helpful and professional. We recommend them highly. "I called Dave after he was recommended by a colleague of his, I had a leak in my in my roof. After replacing all the broken tiles on the roof he checked in the ceiling cavity and saw that there was no water damage but noticed that my hot water cylinder was leaking, he wasn't looking for extra work he was just making sure I had all the details.

David got back to us quickly with a quote, booking time and I arrived home on the day to a wonderfully clean exterior.

We had our house and external windows washed - David did a great job and even water blasted the steps and path!

Definitely will be using DMR again."

"Absolutely trustworthy. David takes pride in his work and so does a really good, thorough, professional job of repainting my colour steel roof. David promptly returns phone calls, kept me informed every step of the way - example, texting me his approx. ETA & letting me know well in advance if he won't be coming in because weather forecast is bad, allowing me to plan my day. Excellent communication skills.
I had David wash my roof and clean my gutters 18-24 months, and was very impressed with the quality of his work then. That is why I didn't bother to get a second quote for repainting my roof - trusting David to give me a good fair price for the job. I already know David does excellent work. That's the only reason I didn't rate him 100%. I feel I got value for money, but can't objectively say the job was reasonably priced since I didn't do a price comparison."

"David was engaged to do an exterior housewash and resolve some roof flashing issues around windows for my property and also a couple of subsequent gutter cleans for rental properties. I highly recommend his services. He is on time, communicates well and puts thought into resolving problems. His services are affordable and thorough with attention to detail.
