"We needed Starlink installed but there was a problem with some high trees on the south side of the property blocking the signal. Chris managed to find the "sweet spot" on the roof where the signal was strongest and completed the installation successfully making sure all devices were working. Very tidy work, reasonably priced and highly recommended.

"Chris installed a solar powered outdoor security system, involving CCTV and video doorbell, and an upgrade to the home entertainment system.
From the beginning I could tell he had knowledge, experience, and was a problem solver. Coupled with practical work processes he pulled the whole project together well. "Chris upgraded our security camera system with a new NVR and three cameras. The job got fitted in just before Christmas which was really appreciated. Chris's communication was great and he helped us figure out the ideal location for cameras. The job wasn't easy with access through the basement and up into the roof. He set the system up and showed us how to use after completing the install. He has since been on hand to do a few minor tweaks and answer queries. I'd definitively recommend him. "

"Chris Gallagher was initially recommended to us by friends of ours in St Heliers who wanted to get off their Sky service and Chris did an excellent job at checking their TV reception aerial on their roof and doing what was necessary so they could stop getting their TV reception via their Sky service. We wanted also to get off receiving our TV programmes via the Sky box as we wanted to stop our Sky service. Chris also checked our aerial on the roof (in pouring rain) and advised we would get… better reception if we changed aerials because of the location of the transmitter stations around our area, which we knew nothing about. We also wanted a recording box to record programmes which we could replay at our leisure. Chris went off after the first visit and came back a few days later with an excellent recording box which he installed and programmed into the TV so we had the same functionality of recording programmes as we did with the Sky service. The recording box also has a built in DVD player to play DVDs too. The service we received from Chris was excellent, his communications skills very good and we were happy with the various costs involved."

"It was an great experience! At inquiry stage, Chris gave me a lot of professional advice on which kind of product he thinks I should use to mount my TV (the TV is unusually heavy, over 50kg). He arrived on time as we discussed on the day doing the job. Then he use his professional stud finder looking for as many available studs as possible considering the weight of the TV (I have a pretty high end stud finder but his one is two level higher than mine). Meanwhile, he also gave me some advice… about positioning the TV to get a perfect watching experience. He always took measurement 2 or 3 times before installing the mounting kit to make sure it is leveled and no conflict with power panels on the wall behind the TV as well as accessibility. Finally, after the TV is mounted, he helped me vacuumed the working area and took all rubbish away. In general, it was a 100% satisfied service."

"Chris did a great job in replacing my old antenna and retuning my Tv and getting me god reception on all free to air channels. He had to climb up a sloping roof to do the work on a slightly rainiy day twice to reset the Chanel’s, then helped to reconnect everything inside. "We needed an antenna installed. I chose Satplus (Chris) based on his high NoCowboys feedback.
He certainly lived up to the high rating! He arrived on time, was very friendly and was highly knowledgeable. He got the job done perfectly and we now have normal TV again, not just Netflix.
While Chris was at our house he assisted with a few other non-scheduled TV tasks and he happily obliged and charged fairly for his services. I would definitely use him again and I highly recommend the company. "

"I needed to find a TV repair company and decided to go with SatPlus Ltd after reading positive customer reviews on this website. I arranged a time and date for the job with director Chris Gallagher and he turned up, exactly on time, to do the work. I had to leave work early to meet Chris at my home and really appreciated the fact that he arrived when he said he would, demonstrated reliability. Chris repaired broken wiring in the coaxial cabling and a broken power booster box which were the… cause of the problem. I thought both were beyond repair but he did a good job in fixing which meant I didn't have to invest in any new parts. He did the work in sweltering heat while working around my two cats who came to see what was happening. I'm a very satisfied customer, so much so that I have booked Chris to come back to replace the old UHF arial and improve reception on all channels. SatPlus is a fully NZ owned and operated company and personally I like to support local when I can!."

"Chris bought a professional and friendly approach to hanging our large Samsung TV to the wall. It was a tricky job with the studs around the fireplace set up in a different pattern than usual. But Chris found a solution and as they say, the proof is in the pudding. TV is still up!"

He worked methodically through a range of options to resolve my TV's Freeview reception issues, including initial testing of the TV signal at the wall plate in my lounge, accessing the roof and investigation of connectors, replacement of rusty connectors and securing of… cables to the aerial mast, replacement of wall plate in my lounge and adjusting the length of cables, as well as tuning of my Smart TV at least three times, to ensure we had the best possible reception & overall result. "Chris sorted out a TV Reception issue for us, involving replacing faulty cable joints, and a faulty TV Signal Booster, and replacing the TV Antenna mast with a taller, more stable unit for better Reception. He did a great job. He's a very tidy, meticulous, and thorough technician; very knowledgeable, and capable. There was no comparison between the quality of his workmanship and the cable joints, etc that he replaced. And he's a very friendly, personable sort of guy.
