    "We've been with Sears for years because the technical work is excellent and the customer service is too. I like the way I'm never "spoken down to" because I am ignorant about cars. I feel informed about progress of any work they do and I know that they will hunt down the best spare parts that are reasonably priced on my behalf. The guys there are polite, straight-talking mechanical wizards!"

    "went to SEARS AUTOMOTIVE because they were close and gave me the best estimate I could find, job was estimated at $650 and they said it would take 2-3 days. BIG MISTAKE going to them because they took 3 weeks to complete the job and I had to hassle them everyday because they would not call me to update me on the status of my car. They also purchased a lot of unnecessarily expensive parts which they charged me for despite NEVER INFORMING ME OF ALL THE EXPENSIVE PARTS I WOULD (allegedly) NEED. So logically because they were so inept and mechanically retarded I assumed that they would at least stick to their estimate, WRONG for all their shoddy workmanship, lack of contact, money wasting and massive inconvenience to me they TRIPLED their estimate.........TRIPLED, $1000 in labour alone because they couldn\'t do a simple job that would take any non-retarded mechanic less than half the time they took. THESE PEOPLE ARE INCOMPETENT MORONS, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER TAKING YOUR CAR TO THEM FOR ANY KIND OF WORK, THEY ARE THIEVES AND LIARS."

    "Had my radiator fixed with Sears, which was done in a professional manner. Having offered to keep my car onsite until the repairs were complete, I would assume that they would except responsibility for my car during this period...alas, at pickup found my car had a dent to it, and having pointed out that it was still fresh, all Don could say was it was not his people, and that other peple park in the yard too, even though it is HIS yard. Was happy for me to leave as an unhappy customer, as i'd already paid, and would bet ya he would be happy for an unhappy customer to leave again. Work done was ok, but not taking responsibility for my car while in his care is purely unprofessional and does make me wonder about the work completed by him."

    "Don & his team are very reliable & charges reasonable. They have given advice & fixed minor problems at no charge. I have been taking vehicles to this plac for about 3 years now & have never had problems experienced at other servicing places.     "I went to Sears Automotive because it was recommended to me .

    Unfortunately my experience was a bad one.I took my car in to get various repairs done.They finished the car on time which was great but while my car was on there premises in there care my sub woofer miraculously disappeared from the boot of my car.

    Unfortunately i only noticed this 2 weeks after the service.I then went to Sears asking them to help me and lets just say they where extremely unhelpful.

    I spoke to the mechanic Brody who said nothing had ever been stolen out of the cars ever before in there yard and that i was the first person ever in the history of there company that this has happened to. I then asked Brody if he had any cameras setup so i could view the tapes , well Brody replied (They were stolen)Not once but twice.What a joke , what does that tell you. Anyway i asked Brody to speak to the owner and see if he would compensate me for the loss .Its been over and month and no one has called me. Let this be a lesson check your car thoroughly before you hand it over for a service , make sure if its not bolted down , dont leave it in the car. I will never use Sears Automotive again .After Reading another customers experience on this website with them it seems allot of things happen in Sears YARD that they dont take responsibility for."
