About us
Hi, We've been building new houses and renovating old ones for the last 15 years. We've been in wellington for the last 15 years and have worked on jobs around the city as well as in regional parts of wellington. While we specialize in major renovations and new builds we also do smaller jobs from time to time. We are very professional and work hard to meet deadlines for project completion. We pride ourselves on providing competitive quotes and then completing jobs on budget.

As the project progressed more things that needed dealing with were uncovered but Skinner and Skinner stuck to the task no matter what obstacle and brought the project to a very satisfactory conclusion.
On top of Covid problems with labour and materials not being available they had the most awful weather conditions to deal with but nothing stopped them turning up day after day. In torrential rain… they even came (without asking) late at night to make sure we remained dry.
Skinner and Skinner arranged numerous trades that were involved and coordinated them with everything else that we had going on. This was a difficult task to say the least but they never gave up and got it all done for us.
They always answered any calls we made and kept us updated all the way through, right down to dealing with the council and getting the consent through.
Last but not least the guys onsite were exemplary tradespeople and the workmanship was second to non.
The lead chargehand did not accept anything but the best from anyone onsite and with the support of his management completed the project to the highest quality.
We are more than satisfied with the end result and would have no hesitation in recommending Skinner and Skinner to anyone for future projects no matter how big or small."
