"Hugo worked extremely well. He painted our roofs and stained our cedar. He also painted the soffits and fascias. He also painted one inside bedroom and the ceiling. He is fast and thorough and very neat and tidy. He is very pleasant and courteous and his charges were very reasonable. Both myself and my husband would highly recommend Hugo for any painting job. "I engaged Hugo to do a full internal paint on Jan 2022. Hugo arrived promptly at 8am every day and did an absolutely fantastic job, I am very happy with the outcome.

"It's not easy when you are spending a large sum of money with someone you don't know. I went onto the local Facebook page looking for recommendations and when I had viewed those, I came to NoCowboys as I have done before to check out reviews. I find that people who have had a problem are keen to complain and often I'm interested in the response if any because there are always two sides to a story. Well the story for Spalets was mostly great. We got 4 quotes and overall while they weren't the cheapest, they gave us the most confidence that they were trustworthy, reliable and would do a great job painting our roof. They did all of that and not only are we very happy to recommend them, we will use their services again. I really want to thank Carolina and Hugo, not only for a great professional job from concept (they brought in a Resene's Colour Specialist to help us make the decision) through doing the work, very professional, prompt and comprehensive communication and through using Xero financials, they made it very easy for us to pay them online as well as have an ongoing record of what we had paid and when. I don't know what it is but sometimes payment can be a little bit of a concern, but doing it through Xero means you have a clear quote/contract so you know exactly what is and what isn't in spec and that payments have been made and received. Ultimately they did a great job and we are very happy to recommend their work. They said they would treat our house as if it were there own and they did."
