"Karn came around last month to wire up my new build. He helped set up our switchboard and then fit off our home with lighting, powerpoints, switches, fans, rangehoods and heatpump. Karn is a hard working young man who is dedicated to his craft. He has great attention to detail and is efficient in his work.
Previously, Karn also helped with the renovation of my last house. He is always easy to reach, responsive and is a wealth of knowledge. He is very dependable and always helps to offer… solutions and ideas on the best way to tackle a project."

Hey, I’m Karn, the proud owner and operator of Sparky King — your go-to electrician here in Te Awamutu and the whole Waikato. I started this business with one clear mission: to offer honest, high-quality electrical work that people can rely on, every time.

I’ve been working in the trade for years and after gaining experience with some of the top teams around, I decided it was time to bring my own brand of service to the Waikato. Sparky King is built on the values I believe matter most: clear communication, showing up on time, and treating every home or site with respect — whether it’s a small repair or a full-scale new build.

Living locally, I’m passionate about supporting the Te Awamutu community and surrounding areas. I’m not just here to do a job — I’m here to build lasting relationships and make sure every customer feels confident knowing their electrical work is in good hands.

What we do
At Sparky King, we cover the full range of residential and commercial electrical work across Te Awamutu and the wider Waikato. Whether you’re building a brand new home, renovating an old villa, or just need a few power points added — we’ve got you covered.
