"From his 1st visit Alan was able to see what we needed to do to retain and level our back section and extend our deck.
The biggest hurdle was removing the large rocks ( 3 truck loads) The transformation happened quickly. We now have a very useable deck and easy access to the back of our section.

"We engaged Alan and his team to undertake a complete overhaul of our section. It was a significant landscaping project and we are extremely happy with the final result. The work included levelling the front and rear section, extensive retaining, concreting, fencing, building several pergola structures with roofing, full deck replacement and extension with new stairs, ground preparation for a pool, ready lawn, bespoke paving steps as well as planting a significant range of flora, which was… sourced at a competitive rate. There were some minor delays due to covid with staff illnesses and delays with supplies, price increases during the course of the project and lots of wet weather causing further delays however the end result is well worth it. He was transparent in his communication when we encountered challenges and we worked together to overcome them.

Alan and his team were professional, the quality of work was to a high standard and he was accommodating to all our requests.

"I was looking for someone to help me surprise my husband with a flower/vegie garden for his 50th birthday and after discussing my ideas and receiving a fair quote from Alan I hired him and his team to do the job and complete the job while I took my husband away for a few days. "The owner of this company, Alan Collingwood, is a hard working honest person who delivered what he promised. His work ethic is shared by the people he employs.
We hired them to dig out old asparagus roots out of 2 big vegetable beds. The roots went down 40cm deep and were a thick entangled mess, the whole top soil layer had to be removed manually, no access for machinery. While discussing the job with us, Alan even took the trouble to schedule it on a dry day and use a SUV with a trailer not… a truck, not to spoil our lawn, although big volumes of soil and bark were moved.

The guys turned up on time, worked hard for several hours, cleaned up, were efficient and polite. We asked for more bark to be brought, they complied, although it was past 5pm.

Couldn't wish for a better outcome, very happy with the results, definitely will cooperate with them again!"

We realised we were very late in the season having this done. However the job went very well and the final result exceeded our expectation.

"In late 2018 Alan and his team strengthened an old metal fence and shifted at least 4 or 5 cubic metres of drainage chip down the bottom of our garden in Matua. "My section was in a terrible state, very over grown and unmanageable for me on my own. I asked Alan to come and take a look and give me some ideas on how we could make it less maintenance. I have a lot of trees on the property some of which needed pruning and some removing, also some big overgrown gardens and a very big felled palm tree. Alan really listened to me and what I was after. He came up with a plan to put rock gardens in throughout, remove a few trees to open it up and plantings of… easy care grasses and shrubs. The first day they were onsite I came home from work and was just blown away with the transformation already! At the end of each day the place was cleaned up beautifully and the guys were all so friendly and professional. Their health and safety and PPE gear was on point, I was so impressed.
