"These guys are awesome! Communication is prompt and they are always on time and they did a fantastic job, very tidy and professional always left the place better than what they found it. They did our double hung sash windows which needed a bit of work and treated them with the upmost care and respect, they now work brilliantly! Will definitely use them again for any work needed in future."

"We have used John for a few projects that we have done over the past few years on our bungalow. Most recently he has helped us with a kitchen renovation which was a mammoth task for us. He is always professional, honest and is really clear on explaining the upfront costs and the different options that are avaialble which we arent aware of. As a client, he makes us feel really comfortable with his trustworthy and knowledgable approach. The workmanship is always top tier and we can rely on his… timeframes and final output. "John built us cupboards in two of our bedrooms. This is the second job we've had John do for us and his standard of work is fantastic. "John installed our new french doors last year immaculately and arranged for the exterior wall to be replastered to fit into the existing door space seamlessly. He also removed a hall door and replaced it with more wall and gib. He did a lovely job and we were very happy with his workmanship and he is a great guy to deal with and very helpful. We have booked him to fit out our bathroom this year. Highly recommend him."

"I used Johnny as he came highly recommended for building jobs big or small. I wanted an internal wall removed to allow for a kitchen renovation.
From start to finish John was professional with his communication and came with a wealth of knowledge on the best way forward. The job was completed and I could not have been more happier with the result. He also took time to explain at each step what he was doing and what was needed for compliance.
I would highly recommend Johhny to help anyone… needing any building work done around your house, no matter how big or small."

"John has done several renovation jobs for us including a complete new bay window. Always obliging and dealing with both John and his wife was a pleasure, taking so much of the stress out of the renovations. A good network with joiners ,glazier etc too. And his work was great ! "

John managed all the other trades and suppliers required to finish our jobs removing the usual stress often associated with renovations. "John is everything we were hoping for in a builder - experienced and knowledgeable, great craftsmanship and attention to detail, tidy and professional, and really easy to deal with. We really appreciated his good communication - which included clear written quotes and invoices, as well as arranging a time to do the work.
Our job also involved moving a heat pump - when we had issues trying to arrange this with one company, he was able to step in and find a team to get on and complete the… work, which took out the hassle for us big time! John was really generous with his advice about this and other projects too.

Really friendly guy and we'll be using him time and again from now on!"

"We employed John to extend and renovate a large room in our home which included taking out a chimney and chimney breast and knocking down an internal wall. "John has been my builder of choice for over ten years. He is superb to work with ....always calm and in control even under trying circumstances. He is super adaptable and gives me awesome advice and lots of options to think about. I am always on a tight budget and he is really good with this. I can't recommend him highly enough...I am just gutted he has left the South Island. Auckland's gain however so give him a call and you won't be disappointed!"
