  "I have just had Darren fix a toilet & leaking tap issues in one of my rental properties. Usually I would undertake this work myself but as I was out of the country & couldn't have tenants without a usable toilet I needed the job done ASAP, I looked on the No Cowboys website for some plumbing options in the area & luckily came across Tradelink.
  I have to say that my experiences over the years has been hit & miss with tradesman but Darren is one which if the need arises I will be… more than happy to use in the future.
  
  The job he did for me unfortunately had a hiccup due to breakdown in communication between myself, tenant & Daren. Daren immediately sorted it & the job was done to a high quality & completed very quickly.
  
  Once I came back to NZ I raced around to inspect the work as had my suspicions, the job was just all sorted so quickly.
  
  Using a different tradesman without Darren's integrity this could have ended very differently for me.
  
  More than happy to recommend Darren & Tradelink,
  
  also a thanks to Allison in the office who kept me informed along the way.

  "As per the many impressive ratings below about Daren/Tradelink, I'd also like to say how very impressed I am with the level of service provided. During our recent property purchase, Daren did a pre inspection on the property for us, spending a very thorough two hours onsite, plus providing a prompt, well written and detailed report for the real estate agent and conveyancing lawyer. This (along with the building inspection), resulted in over fifteen thousand saved off the property purchase… price!! We were over the moon. Daren was able to provide detail on ever aspect of the property that required work, for both plumbing and gas, prior to purchase and gave costings which the lawyers used to bargain with. His level of professional knowledge is outstanding and I appreciated the fact that he has such a wealth of experience in the trade, this shines through. Also, during our recent rental renovation of the above property, Daren competenty took care of the gasfitting and plumbing; then sorted out a problematic roof leak that the roofers had caused and a washing machine leak the painter caused-both free of charge...Thanks heaps Daren. I appreciate a tradesman that has this level of expertise and such a strong work ethic. We'll be in touch for the next stage of renovations :-)"

  "Took three times to get them to attend, on the final phone call Darren admitted having lost the job card and knew nothing about the job. Did the first part of what was required, putting a copper pipe through the floor and wall of a new addition containing a kitchen (for hook up to an external gas bottle for hobbs), charged $311. Have since had a wonderful, helpful, prompt gasfitter come to quote the second part of the job as it seemed very expensive through Tradelink and he has said the copper… would have cost about $5, he could have done the entire job including the next part of the work required for $400 all up. He also stated the quality of the work was substandard with incorrect fitting, should have been a wingback on the internal fitting. Will now have to pay about $400 more to get sorted, could have cost us that all up. Not impressed. Feel totally ripped off."

  "An excellent job done thanks Daren. Tradelink pulled out the old toilet and cast iron/original piping (which was a big and unpleasant job) and replaced it all neatly with plastic. Installed my new toilet and completed the job with full testing of the cistern etc and a nice neat finish to the silicone work.
  Happy to recommend Daren/Tradelink to my friends and associates as he is a reliable & trustworthy tradesman who provides an excellent level of service.

  "We delt with Tradelink in August 08, they had come highly recomended via my husbands contacts.

  We called, and spoke with Corlika, she was efficent and knowledgable and a great communicator. A real asset to Tradelink.

  Daren arrived on time and did a wonderful job. Most impressed with his patience and time he took going through our options on our gas heater.

  Well be back! A pleasure dealing with Tradelink from start to finish.

  "Our HWC ceased to be heating water on Xmas Eve! We couldn't believe our bad luck. Our usual plumber/gasfitter didn't even want to know, he brushed us off cause it was Xmas Eve. Then we called Daren and he came to the rescue that arvo and sorted it out. We were so pleased!! Highly recommend Tradelink and will be definately using them again as our regular plumber/gasfitter."

  I'd had another gasfitter in from a company in Ak City, who told me the heater was beyond repair/parts prob. not avail, however I wanted it repaired as it wasn't that old.
  When I called in Daren/Tradelink to get the repair done he quickly diagnosed the problem. They kept fully informed while parts were on order etc. Daren returned promptly to fit parts and get it going again, even coming back one evening to fit it in-as he was very busy. Much… appreciated."
