"The amount of work Tui and his team completed climbing, sawing and chipping across two days saved us months of work on our family farm. Importantly, they got tricky jobs done by putting on an arboreal circus act scaling ropes with chainsaws which could have put any amateur weekend tree surgeon in hospital or worse. Nothing appeared a problem. We marvelled at all the new views on the property afterwards and collected enough firewood to survive into the next decade. In a crowning touch of… resourcefulness, we learned some remnants from the feijoa and persimmon trees would get thrown in the smoker to test how they might go flavouring ribs. Would thoroughly recommend Treezone's service."

"We engaged TreeZone to undertake an urgent root pruning necessitated by excavation for our house extension. Both the neighbours and I wanted to ensure the work was handled by someone with finesse and knowledge, and Tui and Luke surely delivered. Tui did the initial consultation within 24hrs, and the work was undertaken on time and to an exceptionally high standard. Tui proposed a crown reduction next winter to mitigate the effects of the root pruning, it will most certainly be TreeZone who we… call on to undertake that work too!"

"Tui undertook two seperate jobs for us last month, one trimming trees on my property and one removing trees and hedging on the shared driveway. He ended up having to change the quote 3x with changes occurring on the shared area due to the neighbours, and was very obliging and understanding. He altered the final invoice to match the job in our favour. All the jobs were completed quickly and to an excellent standard. I would thoroughly recommend the team at Treezone and use them again. "We needed three ~20m trees taking down piece by piece as they had become a hazard to the house. Tui arrived next day to do a site inspection. He provided what proved to be great advice at that point. That night we had an estimate. The job date was set for the following week when his team turned up at 8.30am. They moved the garden furniture & put it back afterwards. They left no mess, not even a stray twig, so if it wasn't for the 3 stumps & tidy pile of logs we wouldn't know they'd been… at all! Excellent work, easy to deal with. Highly highly recommend."

He explained the way he had to do the removal and did not harm any of the shrubs/plants beneath the tree. Have used his services before and his quote was very reasonable. "Tree zone and Tui had completed three previous jobs for us over the years, at our previous home and now at our newer home in Birkenhead. We did not ask for a quote this time (which I usually do) because we were confident from our previous dealings that all would be fine. The finished job was fully completed as expected. The cost very reasonable, despite our forgetting that our access should be reversed down (Sorry, Tui !) which cost them 35 minutes. Am trying hard not to award 100% (what a… cliche) but find I have to be honest !"

"We hired TreeZone to remove a large tree that had been damaged by wind and was too close to the house for comfort. Tui came the same day to assess the damage and give a quote, and was back two days later to remove the tree. It was down within hours and everything was cleaned up afterwards. "We have used Tui and his team several times over the years to trim the trees surrounding our property. Our trees are extremely tall so rope work is essential for the job to be completed. We have found Treezone's quotes to be reasonable compared to other arborists, however the quality of their work and the clean up of the site afterwards is fantastic. Any wood that can be used for firewood is cut and stacked neatly for us. I would recommend Tui and his team."

"I would echo other\'s comments on this site. Tui\'s price was competitive and he was on site exactly when he said he would be, he did a very professional job and went beyond the job\'s requirements in cutting up surplus wood to a small size to make it useable for me. Also watching Tui climb a rimu with a chainsaw swinging from his belt as he gradually reduced it from the top down was impressive. I would use Treezone and highly recommend them."

"Sorry I meant to rate treezone much earlier but time got away on me.
We asked treezone to remove five enormous willows in may/June this year. Two of them were very close to the house and all of them had borer and rotting branches. Had put it off due to cost but had to do it.
Treezone were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They quickly and easily took down these huge trees. Another company said they would need to use a cherry picker on our neighbours driveway at vast expense.… Tui and his mate just calmly and expertly climbed them and removed them.

The cost was very reasonable and they were very professional. Highly recommended."

"TreeZone completed an allowed 20% prune of 3 very large Pecan trees on our property. The job was completed on time by Tui and his team in a skillfull and professional manner. An additional palm was removed on the day at no extra cost and the entire site was left clean and tidy with an agreed amount of suitable firewood left for our use. We would have no hesitation recommending TreeZone to anyone contemplating tree work and have asked them to return in 12 months for further pruning… work.

"I\'ve used Tui before to take a small tree down at the front of our site and he was great but this was a much bigger job. Two large trees at the bottom the site hadn\'t been tidied for years .They leant out over some other houses and it was difficult to get equipment down. I shouldn\'t have worried. Tui and his team came in and did a great job over two days, tidying the trees, mulching debris and leaving me with ready cut firewood. He also cleaned the path to and from the trees and left it all… neat and tidy. A great job and I\'ll definately get Tui in to do any other work I need on the trees in the future."

"We would definitely use TreeZone again, they did a great job at a very reasonable price. Not an easy job fitting around our Mon 8am-12 time constraint for a reasonably large job (number of items), but Tui and his \'offsider\' arrived on time, carried out the work very efficiently, did a great job and tidied up after themselves. Very pleased. Exactly what we asked for and what was quoted was done - if not more!
Thanks guys and I\'m happy to recommend you to any other customers. Also I… didn\'t meet the chap but the man who did the stump grinding also went above and beyond (removing and replacing the timber on our garden beds to remove all the roots etc) Please pass on our appreciation.

"Tui and his mate did a very good job. It was clearing large perching plants out of a very large Puriri, about 20 metres up. Not an easy job. Tui did a great job of this and they tidied up really well. Very pleased.

"I first hired Tui about 4 years ago after noticing him around and I thought that he looks like he knows what he is doing. I asked him to come around and give me a quote for a tree prune, and then engaged him to do the job. I have since used him maybe 5-6 times and have been pleased to recommend him to others. He is a trained arborist and he really knows his trees and gives good advice. Tui and his team are also tidy workers and always clean up well after they finish. "We used Treezone to top a large tree in our backyard. Tui and his boys were on time, professional. It was obviuos they know their stuff! The tree was in an awkward corner spot overrhanging 3 neighbouring properties and only a few twigs fell over the fence.
On top of that the price was very fair for the time and effort put in.
10/10, no cowboys here!"

"As others have said, these guys are professionals - and it showed. They brought down a huge tree, chainsawed all the main branches up, loaded everything onto their truck and then raked all the remaining debris up before taking this away too. All this in a matter of a couple of hours. Too boot they charged a very competitive price which I had agreed to when I received their quote by email the week before. Highly recommended."
