"Car in for a WOF on Wed - failed.
Parts ordered by owner on Thu; wrong ones turned up. More parts dispatched Fri - owner called and promised earlier that day that it would be fixed by 1700. Visited garage at 1530; no work even started on car and owner informed me that parts had only just turned up! Discussed repair with owner and agreed to collect car at 1100 on Sat morning. Waited outside garage for 30 mins on Sat at agreed collection time but nobody showed up. Car locked in workshop until… Monday morning, five days after it was first taken in.

Decided to collect the car first thing on Monday; owner didn't even say good morning but greeted me with the words "take it". Established that no work had been done on the car but no reason was given until I was taking the car away for a reputable garage to work on it. The owner then tried to blame the customer for hassling about parts!!! This used to be a good garage but it is crystal clear that it has failed to deliver and cannot see that the fault and failure is entirely down to them. No way are they reliable and communication is terrible. Would NOT RECOMMEND to anyone."

"Took weeks to identify a problem with my vehicle (despite being asked to urgently look at it), ended up breaking a part in the engine, damaging the door and scratching the paint. When we had the vehicle towed to a different mechanic (who fixed the problem immediately) due to the run around we were being given they refused to pay for the damages they caused as well as threaten us with legal action because they felt they were being "bullied". This business appears to have gone down hill… in the last few years as they used to be great and we are now out of pocket as a result. Speaking to other people we aren't the only ones who have had problems. DO NOT RECOMMEND."

"We have recently moved to Upper Hutt and were looking for a Mechanic to service and look after, maintain our vehicles to a high standard. With alot of Mechanics to choose from. Lotsy and the Team were professional, friendly, great communication with follow up, after service care and advice and the quality of workmanship absolutely superb.
