"Richard, his brother Jason and the team did the impossible moving our two story house 23m horizontally and 9m vertically down a steep bank. No other house mover would touch it. They sourced insurance for the job which wasn’t easy, they started when they said and had the move completed when they said. We share a drive way with our neighbours and over the 3 weeks the move took Vear’s crew were very considerate and our neighbours spoke highly of them. The house was placed perfectly onto the new foundations with a mm. Highly recommended."

"The Waikino Hotel built in the 1890s was sinking into the ground .The building had sunk up to 500 mm in places .The floors were uneven and unsupported .The walls were cracking .Windows and doors wouldn't open ,The building was on the verge of falling onto the highway .Richard from Vear House lifting came and met our builders . Between them they had the floors removed and the building lifted ready for re piling in a couple of weeks .Once the new piles and footing were ready Richard and his team return to drop the building back down .

"Vear Housemovers lifted snd moved our 1950s wooden bungalow off its concrete walled foundation (which housed the garage, rumpus and bathroom) onto a new site on our property, rotated it 90 dergees to face north and lowered it down onto new wooden piles. We wanted to keep the concrete walls of the garage, rumpus and bathroon intact and built a monopitch roof over where the house used to be. I contacted Richard Vear at a very early stage during the planning process as well as contacting at least three other house moving companies. Vear Housemovers were the only outfit that could literally lift, roll and resite the house without doing any collateral damage to the concrete walls or the house itself. We can only reiterate how impressed we were with the communication, flexability, his professional team and the quallity of the job undertaken and all for a very realistic and reasonable price. These guys are absolute professionals and a credit to their sector! We even were told by some of his competitors that we had to go to Vear Housemovers in order to achieve what we wanted! The whole job was done in 8 days and not a single broken or cracked window! It was an amazing job, which we are still in awe when we expalin to our freinds on how they did it!!"
