"Ish was fantastic throughout the whole process! He arrived promptly to quote the job and gave lots of good advice on the scope of the job and how best to approach it.
The subcontractors were organised quickly to prepare for the job and arrived in a timely manner. The demolition work was carried out safely and efficiently, and the new framing and building paper was installed all on the same day as the demolition to ensure that the house remained livable throughout the process. The construction was all completed to a very high standard and in less than half the time that I thought it would take.
Overall I am super impressed with the speed and quality of the job and how well organised it was, and would not hesitate to use Vert Construction again or to recommend them to anyone!"

"This was the best experience we have ever had with a builder.
From the very start Ish was helpful, gave good advice and put us at ease with the work that was ahead.

We asked him to handle everything including the sub contractors and this was not a problem.
The quality of work was top notch and the project management was amazing.

As the work was on an older house, we expected some surprises.

"When I made the initial phone call to Vert Construction to explain an unexpected disaster at home. I was quite surprised a site visit would happen at short notice.

While I had planned for the worst case scenario, and prepared ahead, not knowing the full extent of the damage caused by a sudden water leak. VC's first site inspection was cut short, due to a daycare pickup I had on schedule.

Vert Construction made a follow up visit to attentively inspect the internal, external areas of the property, and roof ceiling space to find the cause of the damage.

My mind was quickly put at ease, as Vert Construction showed diligence in every step of the process, and took action to book in the job without a prolonged job queue.

Knowing it would be a financial burden to cover the repair costs, Vert Construction assisted with the info requests for my Insurance Claim (without any hesitation) which made a world of difference! No assessor was available at the time, to make their own conclusion of the damages.

The Director of Vert Construction, Ish is over-qualified for the industry that he works in, with extensive knowledge. He tracked progress of the work through his own photos or video recordings and shared updates. Punctual time management and day planning, shared tips, setup of work environment to liveable standards, with no equipment in the way, and kept a clean work ethic. Promptly responded, showed absolute enthusiasm in philosophy and construction trade, arranged contractors, hiring of industrial dryer etc and inspired ideas to add value to the property.

I don't know whether it was a strike of found luck, that I discovered Vert Construction through NoCowboys, to help at short notice with the repairs, or trusting my own instinct.

When you add professionalism, the right attitude, and quality of customer service to make an informed decision, you will be reassured for making the right choice.

From this experience, I would be extremely grateful to work with Vert Construction and his trustworthy team, if the opportunity arises for building service, renovation or repairs."

"An excellent practioner who carried out the work required to a very high standard.I am highly please with all jobs completed and more.The major recladding work looks great.
Turns up early and gets on with the tasks,no mucking around.
A very personable, friendly and tidy worker who leaves the areas clean each end of day.
Ishwar squeezed in a couple of additional small jobs not included in the quote at no extra charge.

"Job was completed as per plan. All statuary requirements were adhered to. At various stages progress was reported. Quality materials were used and the final outcome is what we had envisaged. "We just finished our house renovation - adding a master bedroom with ensuite and a spare room downstairs. Ish and his team at Vert Construction are like heaven sent to us. They answered our call when we were looking for a builder who will take on our project. This was our very first house reno project so we didn't have much experience and had the basic knowledge of challenges. Ish and his team did such an amazing job that they never let us feel worried or anxious. Their passion, positivity and dedication is second to none. "Vert Construction did an amazing job with our home extension. Ish and his team were very professional, polite, prompt, efficient, friendly, trustworthy and their workmanship is the best I've seen.

We had a bad experience with the previous builder involved in our project and looking for a new builder is almost impossible at that time, sometimes we felt that we need to beg for builders to take our project. We receive cheaper quotes from other builders but based on our experience, sometimes you get what you pay for. Picking Vert Construction to do our home extension is one of the best decisions we've ever made and we're very lucky that the team was able to accommodate us with their busy schedule.

I will never forget when we encountered issues with the project plan and I was a bit worried. Ish told me not to worry and said that it is his job to worry and fix the problem. Being a master builder with years of experience, Ish was able to foresee possible issues and come up with a plan before it becomes a problem. He kept us well informed and gave us options and his advice on how to proceed. My family, especially my 2 kids, loves Ish and his team as we felt we have friends working in our home.

"We engaged Vert Construction to complete an extensive renovation on our 1940's home. This involved removing load bearing walls, new toilet, laundry and study area, as well as a new open plan kitchen and living area. This also involved closing in of old windows and replacing the exterior stucco cladding. These works required consent and also involved various sub trades such as floor sanders, exterior solid plasterers, interior plasterers. The council inspections and all sub trades were excellently managed to the point that we did not have to worry at any point as to what was going on, even the other sub trades which we had organized ourselves (plumber/electrician), were still liaised with efficiently to make sure all timelines were met.

Being a renovation there were a couple of surprises such as a new ceiling rebuild and the replacement of a couple of floors. These fell out of the scope of the original quote however Ish raised these as soon as he was aware and gave us all the right info before proceeding.

We were kept well informed every step of the way, and as small issues arose these were promptly sorted without any fuss. His team were adaptable and listened to our slight changes along the way and were always accommodating, if something wasn't possible they would always explain why.

Vert were on site every day that they said they would be and were very reliable and trustworthy to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend to others or to book again."

"So pleased we managed to secure Ish and his team to do the work we needed. We feel very fortunate to have found him. Very very happy with all the work he did. He was also happy to do the smaller jobs that I asked him to do onsite. He was great with our noisy dogs too, took it all in his stride. "We were looking for a builder to replace weatherboards on 2 major walls of our house. Ish was quick to reply to my inquiry, visit to assess and discuss the work to be done, and provided a reasonable quote (we'd done some homework) a few days later. My inquiries of other builders weren't as successful. Ish impressed me with his enthusiasm and authenticity so he got the job.
Ish and his team were able to begin work about a week after my initial inquiry and completed the entire job in just over 2 working days spread over 2 weeks due to low stocks of weatherboards. The quality of the work was to a high standard and included adding an extra waterproofing layer to the existing one under the weatherboards. Ish was always happy to answer my questions and advise at any time, and for me to take progress photos of the work. Given our experience, I have no hesitation in recommending Vert Construction for any building work."

"We contracted Vert Construction to build a new wooden ramp/deck. Ishwar and his team demolished the existing concrete ramp and built a wooden ramp in its place. They were professional and punctual with great communication. The ramp turned out great and we are really happy with it. The whole project was completed as planned, reasonably priced, and there were no surprises. Ishwar also gave us some great ideas about other home renovation projects that we will definitely engage them on."

"As the director of the local architectural practice, Raven Architecture, I am fortunate know most of the Builders in the local area and Vert Construction is by far one of the best. I have used Vert Construction services to undertake a minor renovation to my own house.

Ish and the boys came around when they said they would and knocked out the work in record time. Not only did they do an outstanding job with an exceptional finish they did it within the budget, which would have been difficult as my house is an older state house and there are subsidence issues with walls out of plumb creating difficult working conditions for the boys. But they persevered and got on with the project.

"We had problems getting quotes for kitchen reno, after calling more than 10 builders we were ready to give up because most never returned our calls. Then I saw a van (Vert Construction) at the petrol station so we decided to try him and it turned out to be the right call.
Ish and his team did a fantastic job renovating our kitchen, now our family enjoys cooking together.
Good communication, workmanship and tidiness also very practical. We highly recommend Vert Construction and we will tell family and friends plus we will be using them again in the future.

"Ish and his team built an extension for our new ensuite and wardrobe. We found them to be very helpful and great to work with. Together we set an ambitious deadline to complete the work before Christmas. Ish delivered the project on time and on budget even with setbacks and additional issues that came up as the build progressed. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed to a high standard even over the busy pre-Christmas period.

We really appreciated their safety practices and we knew that the safety of ourselves and our children was always their concern which, on a building site, was very important to us. They made sure to leave everything clean and tidy at the end of the day. Ish also managed all of the council inspections and managed to arrange multiple inspections together with our plumber to save on costs for us.

We hope to use them again in any future projects we have."

After searching extensively for a contractor to do this Job and other renovations in our house, we were recommended Vert by lots of people in our known. "Vert Construction undertook extensive renovation work at our house, They redid our bathroom and also fitted a new shower Unit and toilet. Floor and walls were redone along with ceiling. Out of our old bath room a brand new bathroom emerged. It looks fantastic. They also have plumbers and electricians working with them so we did not have to do anything at all. They also renovated another toilet and wash room. Our study windows were double glazed along with windows in our dinning room. Work was done to a very high professional standard and on time. I will use them again to get more work done. They are honest, reliable and very efficient and each day they leave the place in a very clean and tidy manner. Extremely impressed with their workmanship and professionalism."

"We had a new lounge to be added. The complicated part for me was that the consent was approved sometime in October. All the builders I contacted mentioned that they couldn't do anything until the consent was approved & hence we would hit a delay in ordering windows etc being close to Xmas. When I contacted Ishwar to provide a quote, he was full of practical ideas on how we could keep moving things along so that delays could be minimized. His quote was also quite reasonable & hence I decided to sign an agreement with Ishwar to build our new lounge.

During the lounge build, Ishwar would always communicate with me as to what was happening & also mentioning about complications that would come up due to this being a renovation project. Ishwar was always accompanied by Johny & they would work together exchanging ideas & how to practically achieve a complex task.

Ishwar was quite accommodating to ideas that we had & how they could be practically achieved. During the renovation work, we even got our whole house exterior painted by Ishwar & his boys. Again his quote for the exterior paint work was quite reasonable.

During the renovation & once all work was complete, Ishwar tidied up all debris that was all around the house & left the place spic-n-span. That shows his professionalism & attention to small detail. Unlike another tradie who came into our house wearing dirty footwear & left the new lounge with footmarks & dirt & didn't even bother cleaning up.

Overall, I am happy with the work done by Ishwar & would be definitely contacting him for any future work."

"Engaged Vert Construction to demolish a wall between kitchen and living room.They are very knowledgeable in the building codes and was able to tell me exactly what's needed to comply to council requirements. Ish and Johny is a great team, very experienced and professional in their work.Great house keeping and always vacuum the work place before they leave. "I have had very bad experiences with builders..or should I say in reality NO EXPERIENCE because over a course of 2 years plus I contacted 15 builders and this is when there was more builders than work. Some turned up and looked at the job/s others did not, and in all none turned up.
I wanted to reface the front and side of my house and add a bannister up the steps outside. I saw a builder working next door at my neighbour's so asked him to look at my requirements. I half expected them not to show.
But I did receive quotes and options by email as requested and an approximate arrival date if I wanted to proceed.
Ishwar and John did turn up and both surveyed the property and conversed with each other in how to proceed. These two were like Alpha and Omega conferring together then working as one.
What surprised me was the huge accumulation of knowledge the industry they were working in and this was proven by the van they used being jam packed with a multitude of tools and electric machinery....and it seemed they had both the knowledge and the experience.
I did watch them at work and they were very precise. Pieces of timber, ply and Hardiplank measured then fitted like a huge jig saw puzzle. I deviated somewhat to my original plans and asked if they could do other smaller jobs that I knew would be shunned by other builders as a job too small.Without blinking an eye Ishwar said he not only would do them but could do them and it is the latter that I find most important as I had so many promises from others saying they 'would' do the jobs but they simply did not return as promised.
Today I looked out of my upper window and saw Ishwar with a broom sweeping the water and leaves down the long Right of Way and even the road and footpaths. You might say literally leaving no stone lying on the ground and tidied up.It is this attention to detail that marks the two as not only Master Builders but men tidying up their mess. But I found that they were not just builders but honourable men that would flick off a promise without thought but actually did what they said they would do.
For those that have had the terrible experiences I have endured over the years with so called Master Builders they need to contact Vert Construction because they are the real deal.
Take my word for it..!! Go Vert..!!
I started looking for a builder and now I have found more than that in na friendly relationship and above all TRUST..!!"
