"Engaged Harry at Wellington Tree Services to cut back some dense trees that were cutting off light to our house. Harry was very politely tolerant of my initial indecisiveness (removing a tree is not a decision you can take back!) and gave excellent and helpful advice on how much pruning various species would be able to tolerate. When he and his team turned up to do the work they were quick, precise and EXTREMELY tidy. I was extremely impressed with Wellington Tree Services and have already made… plans to have them back to do more work. I honestly can't see myself using anyone else going forward."

"I have been using Harry for several years. I was put on to him by my experienced gardener, who retired. My present gardeners asked me who my arborist was as they had been impressed by his work. I said it was Harry. I cannot comment on his prices, which I have thought reasonable. I have been too satisfied by his work to want anyone else. My experiences of Harry reflect the 100% grade given him by other users. He understands trees, he is straightforward and reliable. Two of my neighbours… used “tree butchers” and got “cowboy” work as a result."

"Simply The BEST! Big pohutukawa with some branch touching over house roof from bank in Miramar.
Had visit within the week of my calling and, as Harry advised, they started did the job immediately that day on my acceptance of reasonable quote.
Job itself done really really well with bit extra taken away and the clean up was blimmin immeculate! Cannot recommend highly enough. Awesome guys to deal with."

"Harry and Phil (I think, apologies if incorrect), were just great. Harry was happy to spend time explaining the situation and once they started, were efficient and careful. It was amazing to see how quickly they got through everything. They were able to clear out the willow trees overhanging our house, chop it for use as firewood and mulch everything else in 1.5 days. Would happily recommend them and will have them back for our next operation."

"when we call the company, from that day it was a good communication till the job is done with harry. The quote was cheaper then the others and it was free. They chop three trees and trim the others, one was norfolk pine which was big next to the fence, which was chopped carefully. the tree was cut into small pieces for fire and take a good care of surrounding and clean. For us we like harry and the team as a person and good to talk. We will use the company again and recommend."

We weren't disappointed as, after 25 years of using various other arborists with varying success, Harry & team did the best trimming job we've ever had done on trees on our steep property. "Phoned Trees R on the Monday to arrange a quote for removal of a karo tree. Harry & his team came on the Wed, quote accepted and tree removed there and then. I cannot speak highly enough of this company! Removal of tree was done expertly, speedily and not a twig left afterwards - a very tidy finish and courteous service. "Harry was scheduled to come and remove a hedge and do some general trimming. Unfortunately, the replacement plants for the hedge were delivered early. I rang Harry and explained the problem and he fitted us in earlier than planned, so that the new plants did not have to stand in their bags for some time.
He was careful, courteous and extremely tidy. Highly recommended."

"Harry donated a big truck load of Pohutukawa mulch to the Miramar Community Garden. The garden members have been busy all weekend using it to mulch our garden plots and keep the weeds down in our pathways. We're also using it to add "brown material" to our compost bins. It is a easy to have an intelligent conversation with Harry. His was careful to dump the mulch in a manner that wouldn't cause ruts in the roadside. He and his crew member worked together in a fluid and… efficient manner. His truck was well maintained and in gorgeous condition. A class act."

"Harry and Jacob worked rapidiy and safely through the list I had discussed with Harry when he quoted for the work to be done. They were caught out by impending rain so had to finish a little earlier but arranged to come back another time to complete.
I am delighted with the care they took, their workmanship, attitude and willingness to split some large logs that I wanted to use for firewood but were too thick fit in the woodburner.
I paid a very fair price for the work done .… I would recommend Wellington Tree Services without reservation"

"You can’t get any better than this. Harry and his colleague turned up on time, actually listened to me (a female – doesn’t usually happen!!) and did exactly what I wanted. They worked quickly and professionally on a site with very difficult access. They completely removed a huge Bay tree, trimmed a tall Matipo, an Avocado, a Rhododendron, cut back an overhanging Hebe and several other trees, chipped the Bay so I could use it for my chicken houses, tidied everything up and all in the space… of less than 3 hours. I’m so glad I found them (thanks to NoCowboys). I’d recommend them to anyone and I’ll never use anyone else. Don’t muck around putting off that tree trimming job because you thought it would be too hard. It won’t be if you get Harry on the job. BTW everything cost less than half of what I expected."

They arrived early, managed to get the truck onto my hard to access property and left the site immaculate. I asked several companies for a quote, but Harry was the only one who actually turned up. They responded promptly when I called for a quote and carried out the work the day after I said we wanted to go ahead with the job. Harry & Tim really knew their stuff and took into account the aspect of keeping privacy while letting in maximum light / sun when pruning / thinning trees. "Great company, two thumbs up. Felled a huge norfolk pine for us. Harry came round and gave us a quote the same day I rang. We explained we were on a tight budget and wanted the tree cut into chunks that we could split ourselves, and that we'd keep all the stuff they'd mulch. Also, since the backyard was in desperate need of an extreme makeover, we didn't care what state they left it in. Harry's quote was waaaaaay cheaper than the other two quotes we got, and we were really happy with their… work. Only thing that prevents me from rating them more highly was that communication was a bit slow when I had some follow up questions about the quote, and it took a while to get them to commit to a date. But once we got the date, they turned up as agreed and on time, and they cleaned up well. Very happy :)"

"Great company to deal very professional and I highly recommend using them. I was extremely happy with the job that they did of cutting back the trees. Harry gave good advice when he came to quote and rather than top the trees we agreed to trim back some of the big branches. He gave me the quote on the day he quoted which was great as it often take a long time to get the quote from trades people. It seemed a reasonable quote to me so accepted and really happy with the completed job.

"I was really impressed with how professionally and efficiently they completed the job. They were SO quick and took away all the mess, not a stick was left behind. Harry also asked me several times during the process if I was happy with how much they were cutting away and if I wanted him to cut more back etc. I was really impressed and would definitely recommend and use them again. There is much more light coming into our lounge and kitchen now, it just looks so much better."

"We had two needs - for a couple of trees to be removed (with the stump for the large tree ground out) and a massive patch of ivy cut back and poisoned. We got great advice and a competitive quote. Harry was able to get to us more quickly than the original schedule. He was able to reschedule when we unexpectedly found nesting birds in one of the trees, which we greatly appreciated. All the work was done quickly and the area was tidied up very well. Recommend very highly!"

"Tree removal required Nevay Road Miramar from hanging over fence over top of neighbours deck, requiring connecting up with neighbours as well to organise use of their drive etc
Nothing was a problam at all and all handled by Trees R effortlessly; from quote through to completion and clean-up of the job exactly as discussed.

"We arranged for Trees-R-Us to come and clear some branches that were hitting off our power line. It was completely hassle free as they were able to quote without us being there as the power cable is accessible from the road, pointed out that branches were hitting our phone line and asked if we wanted those dealt with too and then did the job very neatly so that the trees don\'t look gouged. And after all that charged less than the quote as it took less time! Fantastic!"

"We had several quotes from various providers, and the prices varied significantly. Trees R advised when they were able to provide a quote, and they called back nearer the time and arrived as arranged.
Their price was very good and was very clear about what it did and didn\'t include.
The work was undertaken very swiftly and they left my property having done a very good job of the tree and having cleaned the site up very well. "
