"Hi Jeff, collected the key & inspected the repair work to ceiling (damaged by Chorus during installation of fibre network) which looks good. I want to compliment you:
On the speed with which you responded to the request from the Chorus contractor
On the reliability of you & your worker
On your communication with me from start to finish
It is a delight to come across a sub-contractor like you. I will have no hesitation in recommending you/ your firm to friends & contacts in the future.

"all i required was a quote for a possible painting job. Jeff was great to deal with, he listened to what I wanted and made some useful suggestions. He was very respectful of me as the home owner and I felt that my potential job was as important as any other he had. thank you Jeff."

"I'd like to say that I had a good experience with Whisk, but alas I'm unable to do so. Not only was the job lengthy (quoted as taking 3 weeks, but ending up taking 5 months), but the workmanship was patchy in places, and needed remediation at the end of the job. Some issues are still being discovered now (6 months down the track)

Also, there were times throughout the job where the house was left in an insecure state, with doors and windows left unlocked and/or open after workers left

Jeff, and Whisk Limited had a reasonable reputation up until the time that this job started (and is well known in the industry), but this has overall been a very disappointing, expensive and worrying engagement.

    Jeff responded:
"In carrying out any work there are always two sides to a story. I have delayed my response as I did not want to get into a \"he said, she said, I said, you said\" discussion as this is not a practice applied within our industry respected company. However, with multiple discussions with the team at No Cowboys and the passing of many months I now wish to tell my side of the story in reply to this posting of feedback and false accusations. 1. Length of Job. Yes, I admit the job took longer than expected, this however was for the following reasons. At the initial time of quoting, we had availability with multiple staff and also the summer weather. The job however was not accepted until months later meaning the weather was not conducive to long days of painting and multiple staff availability. The delayed start date resulted in \'overlapping\' of prior booking commitments and start dates with Residential Clients and also Building Contractors who required our services on large renovation projects. In essence, with the combination of the delayed start date, the weather conditions (it rained in excess of 4 weeks while we were onsite), shorter days (painting between 10am and 3pm, where as in summer, which is when the job was initially quoted to be done, we would work 7:30am - 7:30pm). This is not to mention that on the day of starting, we arrived onsite to erect scaffolding only to find drainage contractors working on a digger removing soil from the base of the house where we needed to erect scaffolding! 2. Patchy workmanship. This was due to the fact that the job was incomplete at the time of these areas being seen. We were working around Client arranged builders who were removing pergolas, replacing rotten weatherboards etc, spouting contractors installing new spouting (on that note, we were asked by the Client to remove the existing spouting which was not quoted for and however did it at no charge taking 2 guys for a day and a half to complete). The multiple trades and timing of, resulted in several surface areas requiring additional work to reach the standard we were happy with. I have not been told of any \"issues 6 months down the track\". Had I been consulted of these alleged issues, I would have discussed, visited to inspect, found a solution and carried out the necessary work to remedy these concerns. This process is something we pride ourselves on and communicate to all Clients, we do not, and have never left a job with outstanding issues unaddressed or fixed to the Clients satisfaction. The very nature of painting property means that there will always be some form of remedial work which is agreed upon with our \'walk around\' meeting at the conclusion of a job and subsequently carried out. This property was no different, we did this with James and completed the areas he requested, a final invoice was sent to James when he was happy with the work done and payment was received. To all parties, the job was completed to every ones satisfaction. 3. Securing Property. Doors and windows were left unlocked and slightly ajar in some cases. This however was never done without communicating to the other Client arranged tradespeople that the last person to leave was to lock up. 5. Whisks\' reputation. Whisk is a respected company in the industry who value Clients and their properties. This will never change, it is why we exist, Transforming Properties, Adding Value, it is our DNA. Our values personally and as a company are ones of honesty and integrity. Our communication is prompt and knowledgable. Our quotes are always comprehensive, clear and with all work carried out to a high standard. We look forward to you experiencing Whisk for yourselves."
