    "Terrible customer service, very rude and snappy. The worker never showed up for the scheduled time, I called up to ask what was happening (I was perfectly happy to rebook for another time) only to be yelled at and hung up on. I tried calling back only to get no answer. Worst service I have ever had, it was unbelievable! "

    "We've used Ian from Whiteway Gas Repairs to service and maintain our Brivis gas central heating system for the past 11 years and highly recommend him. He really knows this product well and we reckon the 20-year-old unit has kept running as well as it has for as long as it has because of his careful servicing. In recent years, we have had him service it annually before winter and he always gives an honest appraisal of any likely issues over the coming year and advice on how to deal with them. We also recently had him replace the ceiling vents and he did a great job at dealing with some idiosyncracies of previous work done and tailoring them to our needs. We have also always found Kim White excellent to deal with when booking the work. And we've found them really reasonably priced. We highly recommend Ian and Kim White and their company Whiteway Gas Repairs."

    "Whiteway had done maintenance work on my old gas furnace, and when it finally gave up (it was very old) they installed a new one. Great work, reasonable prices, and they're a friendly team. They go out of their way to make sure everything is working fine, not that just the work you've asked them to do is completed. The only negative I can say is that they turned up about 45 minutes late on the day they installed my furnace; it would have been nice to be told they were running a bit late. I'd definitely recommend them."

    "We had a 20 year old Brivis gas unit when we moved into our house. Ian of Whiteway is one of the few people who knows how to service these and get the best out of them. We were doing renovations and Ian was very helpful in giving suggestions on how to reduce our gas consumption and improve the performance. In the end we moved the temperature controller that was situated in a draughty hall and was, as a result,making the unit work overtime thus using more gas.

    He also reviewed the ducting when our floorboards were up for repiling and identified some very poorly laid ducting and also a hole in the pipe. Since Ian has been, and in conjunction with insulating under the floorboards, our power bill has gone down by about $300 a year. I would recommend Ian of Whiteway if you have a Brivis unit."

    "Zero customer service! At the initial visit, the technician was unable to complete our job (service gas system plus hook up a new duct). We rescheduled for 6 weeks later. I was given an ETA of 12pm and when I phoned at 12.30 to query how far away the team was from arriving, the rep got extremely offended, completely over-reacted and cancelled, refusing to complete our job. I would not recommend Whiteway gas to anyone needing work done, or needing a good level of customer service."
