"I have been remiss in not posting this review earlier. About two years ago I got a quote from Vance for new double glazed aluminium joinery for my house in Orewa. It took over a year for me to confirm the job and I finally went ahead with the work in July 2024. Middle of winter on the coldest day of the year they started the work and it was all completed four days later. Every exterior window and door was cut out of my house and I now have new double glazing, new aluminium frames, E-coating (for UV) included, additional sound barrier on the roadside windows, I changed the size of two windows, I changed from opening to sliding windows and I had wider picture frames installed on the outside. Dave and Lindsey were my team, with Nick helping out on the last day and these guys were amazing. Nothing was a problem, I felt safe leaving the house in their hands knowing it was open to the elements. Everything was cleaned up at the end, they turned up when they said they would and communication was great. I also learnt a few things about the structure of my house which is good to know.
I did initially get a couple of quotes but I found Vance to be the most knowledgeable, helpful and I did want to use someone local. I would definitely use Vance again for any building/glass work and I hope you do too. Helen"

"Old, unsafe, draughty louvred toilet window needed to be replaced. Tried nationwide franchise first and after at least six months of fluffing around told me they could not do it. Found Window Masters. Vance promptly replied to email query. Measured, quote and ordered window. Lovely gent installed it in timely manner during a downpour, leaving no mess. Window is safe, draught free….. perfect! Great team work and will use Window Masters again."

"We decided to replace our internal wooden doors by some French doors in our bungalow and asked Vance to fit them in for us, when the original door makers unexpectedly, who were supposed to do the job, shut business.
It was a tricky business as the internal frame was not totally straight and Vance and his assistant took a long time to fine tune it. Eventually the new doors were fitted in and we are very happy with the result."

"Just a little job, but done with 'Top Notch' professionalism. Our house is about 20 years old and one lever catch broke on a pair of push-out windows. I contacted Vance who came by to take a look. He suggested I could do the job myself - he told me where to buy a replacement window catch, "but don't get just one get a set of four, otherwise the new one won't look right alongside the other three slightly corroded ones". So I got four catches and tried to remove the screws........... the first two screws came out OK on the first catch but I couldn't get the 'slightly corroded' screws out from any of the the other catches while reaching over a box hedge under the windows.

I called Vance again and he came by as promised within the week with his drill and did the job in 5 minutes. And he was correct - the finished job looks so much better to have had all four catches replaced at the same time.

I really appreciate the prompt service where, even for a little job like mine, Vance was the right man to call. He is most certainly the one I will call if there is a next time!

"This was never going to be a straight forward job. I had quotations from other companies all with issues on achieving the complete job. First there is steel supports each side of the window, creating a small challenge for fastening. second it was on the second floor with Access on a busy Car Park. I had communicated to Vance I had a Travel lift available to lift this quite large window into place. Which did not go exactly to plan. Which meant Kiwi ingenuity under pressure. Vance and his team stepped up no negativity. We worked together job completed with excellent result. Would I recommend your team for future work YES."

"Thank you for your hard work and wonderful service Vance. Vance repaired my elderly mothers door which we have a lot of trouble finding the right person for. Vance went out of his way to even came on the weekend on his day off to repair the door so it was ready for the another person we had coming on the Monday. "Started off with a leaking gutter sump which got replaced and since then Vance and co (including his dog) have repaired other leaking gutters, replaced weatherboards, decking, new back door including frame, installed a new trellis and replaced all windows & sliding doors with double glazing. All this was done over the last 2 years! Vance did all the organising, sourcing of good quality/reasonably priced materials and undertaking all the work. Always left the place tidy and good workmanship. He's our go to guy for any repairs/installation for the house :)"

"I had difficulty getting someone to clean the gutters on my conservatories and put some new sealant on joins. Vance from Window Masters agreed to do the job which I was grateful for.
