    "Freezer malfunction in lockdown! Horrors! Geoff came to investigate the same day we called for help, ordered and installed the new part two days later. Great service. Thank you very much."

    "Reluctant to use this company ever again. I’ll be talking to Harvey Norman. Bad customer experience. Precious washing machine they wouldn’t cover under warranty because they said they didn’t recognise the purchaser and now our fridge has been bought back without the draws running on the tracks. They have just thrown them into the fridge and it has a dent in the door. ???? Don’t use this company. We had to get a loan fridge from Harvey Norman which they delivered immediately because Windress said it would take 3 weeks to fix. WTAF? Thumbs up to a Harvey Norman BIG THUMBS DOWN to Windress."

    "I had a service man booked in at 8 am on the 21st July to check out a non working washing machine.
    The service man contacted me a short time after completing the visit to say that the job was going to be more expensive than the $300 I had pre approved.
    They said they would price the job and get back to me with 48 hours.
    After the 48 hours had passed, I rang them and they said I would have the quote that afternoon. That was Friday the 23rd July.
    On Sunday the 1st of August I received their quote via email.

    I thought the 11 days to get the quote was unacceptable. Poor effort, would not use again.

    "I rang Windress just before Easter to report my fridge freezer not cold on some shelves. The receptionist was cheerful and positive and promised to get a technician out the following day to diagnose the problem. The technician Sanjeev Prasad advised the control unit was faulty and would need replacing. The part was fitted today in a very timely and proficient manner. Sanjeev had originally given me a ballpark figure for the cost of repairs, but the final charge was well below this. He was friendly courteous and obviously on top of his job. I will be recommending windress to all my friends and they are now my go-to repairers for the future.

    "What an absolute disgrace their service was. Came out to check the dishwasher model and returned with the wrong part. Then I waited 6 weeks of calling each week to get an update and always received the same rubbish reply. Went with Butterworth repair agent instead had the job completed in under a week. Terrible service and have laid a complaint with LG"

    "Phoned Monday and arranged a time for next day and was given a time range which I was happy with. The serviceman arrived on Tuesday and phoned beforehand to let me know they would be there within half an hour. Was told thermostat was broken on oven, part needed to be picked up and would be fixed next week. Then received a call the next day to say they had part and could fix on Thursday - organised time etc and arrived when they said they would. Very happy with the service we received from Windress and was only charged ONE housecall fee, part cost and time in house. I would definitely use Windress again."

    "Dear Jeff,
    Today one of you washing machine service people visited ( his name is illegible.). To repair our LG top loader machine. The machine is making strange banging noises when spinning.
    The service man listened to and examined the machine and was unable to offer any kind of diagnosis much less any ability to fix the problem. He could only suggest removing the machine at a further cost to you workshop.

    I found it unacceptable that a qualified was unable to diagnose the problem and then charged me $109 for absolutely nothing.

    I pointed out to him that it would be possible for myself to offer this service, to arrive at someone's home and do nothing, offer no diagnosis or suggestions and charge $ 109 for the privilege!

    I find it questionable regarding the kind of service people who you employ. This is so very poor.

    I will probably take this further.

    "I have used Windress three times and their overall success rate on repairs has been good, but immediately following a recent repair on the oven, the fan was left rattling. I took quite a while to ring back as I had recently had a baby and the rattling is intermittent - so annoying when it happens but easily forgotten when you\'re busy. When I did get back to them (4-5 months later), they didn\'t want to know about it. They were going to treat it as a new problem and charge full price. Previously i would have recommended these guys but I\'ll take my business elsewhere next time."

    "The Serviceman was late and grumpy but worked out quickly that we needed a new pump for the dishwasher and said it would be back with it in a couple of days.
    After 5 phone calls, 4 weeks, and been told that the supplier refused to supply them as they had a poor credit rating, promises of new pump, and then no they were going to give us a new replacement machine, but no that didnt happen.

    One month late the orginal machine was returned with a new pump minus the skirting board, The delivery was a day late."

    "We have since removed our dishwasher from this repair place as their communication was terrible and we never heard wheat was going on. In the 2 weeks that they had the machine I left numerous messages to find out what the story was and only had one reply phone call. The service was terrible, the man that came to do the quote did not seem to know what he was doing and told us a time frame that turned out to be very incorrect.
    We were very disappointed as we had been recommended to use Windress by our insurance company, we will not pass on this recommendation to anymore in future and I think that the insurance company feels the same way.

    An unfortunate situation for all that could have been easily prevented. One plus on the situation is that they have agreed to deliver the dishwasher back to us so that we can have another technician repair it.

    "Great service. They were able to send a serviceman around to fix my washing machine on the morning that I called. The serviceman arrived earlier than scheduled but I was called by Windress first to let me know that this would be the case. Buzz, the young serviceman, was a pleasure to deal with....showed initiative and was cheerful and knowledgeable. I would defiinitely use them again."
