"UNRELIABLE LEAK DETECTORS DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was charged over $1000 for them to fix a pipe leak only for them to dig up my concrete and find no leak. They just left it like that and still charged us.

The guy who was sent to complete this job was aware of the requirements for this job yet he still left our property for almost 2 hours (which they charge you for) to go buy the tools and materials. Do not waste your time and money on this company."

"I recently had a no hot water situation. I gave Your Local Plumber a call and was lucky enough to get Joel on the phone. He talked me through a plan of action and gave me his cell number to contact him after hours if needed. It turned out it was an electrical issue - but Joel personally connected me with an electrician they partner with who came out the same day and fixed the issue. A huge thanks to Joel for his advice and help on this.

"We had a water main leak in our driveway, so We have called one plumbing company to fix it, they bring the leak detectors to find a leak and they couldn't find it and then said it is a very complex job will give you a quote to fix it but never turn up to fix it.
Then we call "Your Local Plumber" they came and done very professional job to replace water main with a new pipe. We are very happy with the out come.

"We've had good dealings with YLP over the last few years, including most recently a water mains replacement for a block of flats (a major undertaking to coordinate with the various owners). Everyone we've dealt with at YLP -- the Project Coordinator, the owner, and the plumbers themselves, have all been especially professional in their conduct. Also very noteworthy, and very important to me, is that they all have good communication skills (from discussing assessment and quote and right through the project itself). I recommend giving them a call to discuss work you're considering doing, as their project coordinator, Jane, is very skilled at talking you through the options."

"A pleasure to experience such friendly, efficient service when we had an OMG plumbing problem. Our flooded front yard had to be dug up, in a precious, overcrowded garden. Under-the-house pipes were replaced, a pretty new tap installed; the leak was fixed. The bill was reasonable for eight hours solid work. Everything has returned to Peace and Beauty. "Plumber turned up with specialist leak detecting equipment however failed to detect leak even though water loss was in excess of 4 litres per minute. Hefty hourly charges for specialist leak detection, plus apprentice, then invoiced for additional equipment (concrete cutter & concrete breaker) and although used on the day, the additional costs for this equipment was not discussed with us until invoice time."

"Phil arrived at the appointed time, did a quick inspection to see what the likely cause of my bad smell in the bathroom. He explained what he was going to do and reported back before exploring further. He quickly identified the drainage leak and fixed it. Made recommendation to cement outflow so smell would not come back up through lav if the leak happened again. Explored posssible long term preventative solution. Cement block on brick wall could be a but neater, but overall pleased with work."

"i called one plumber who came three times to fix dripping issue on shower head but no luck. The guy tried to fix my problem so I paid him but my problem didn’t solved so I contacted YLP. Due to my bad experience I emailed Kelly for guarantee of work which I understand case to case. Kieran was the man who inspected dripping issue and said due to very old mixer and pipes my problem might not solved unless I remove old fixtures and renovate everything. He was right as building construction was done in 1960 but still he put his efforts and used his skills and experience to solve the problem which worked perfectly in first visit. "I have lived at my home for 22 years and have had many flooding problems during that time. I've had three different plumbers come to try and fix the drainage issues but no luck. I got in touch with Your Local Plumber after my downstairs flooded again and had a fantastic experience with them. They explained to me the entire process and made sure I understood what was being done to help fix the drainage system. "A job well done! A team came to my home early in the morning to solve a serious problem of water leaks (unusual water use listed as 2152 L per day). The team demonstrated both professionalism and passion to help. They detected the leaking joint just in one minute. I was more than happy for such a speed and asked them to fix the problem immediately. The entire process took about 4 hours to complete. The team nicely made the place clean before they left.

I did not open the Water bills for months until a neighbor advised that there must be water leaks when she saw running water in my garden. I am grateful to have Your Local Plumber help me terminate the insane record of water-wasting of hundreds of KL .

"All team members were very professional and seemed to do their jobs well, though the process was difficult - for me (losing my entire garden when I'd understood not all plants would be uprooted) and, I understand though it was a surprise to me, in terms of what they found once digging started. I was particularly pleased though with communication flow and also the tidy manner in which my property was left. My only small negative would be the invoicing. It would have been helpful to have had a statement setting out payments made and showing the balance owing, rather than having to look out deposit invoices to check totals.

Our hot water cylinder was leaking badly, called these guys and they were on the job pronto.
First onsite was Stephen, who checked out the job and arranged the quote. Very efficient and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to meet.
Harrison was our plumber. He installed the new cylinder and did some minor carpentry work. We were kept updated throughout the job, he was quick and the work was finished to a very high standard. My wife said he was a real ‘treasure’.
Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional.
Thank you guys, we will certainly be using you again in the future.
