"We had a gas leak on our property that meant no access to hot water or cooking. Our usual plumber was unable to help for a couple of days so we contacted 4CET. Tamaiti made an assessment visit within a couple of hours of our call, and had the job done that day - fitting it in even though this meant he was at our place til 7pm. Great service and communication, easy to deal with too.

"Excellent service from Tamaiti Brunning of 4CET - unreservedly 5 Stars. We had an electric/gas oven install and Tamaiti was extremely responsive to our need to have it installed without delay the same day we contacted him, after another tradesperson had fallen through. He was able to prioritise our job as a result of a cancellation the same day we called and talked us through all the preliminary checks (ie type of socket for the electric oven and current LPG fitting etc) over the phone and via… text messages/photos before he arrived to ensure he was on top of all the job requirements. A remarkably accomplished, empathetic and extremely pleasant tradesperson, who I can recommend to all without any hesitation. takes time to give you a full understanding of the work involved and in this way instills great confidence. thanks againTamaiti. "Have used 4CET Plumbing and Gas for a number of years. Always excellent and competent. Tamaiti does the initial scoping of the work and Jim follows a few days afterwards to do the work and brings a colleague if needed. Both are really excellent and happy (professional). Great communication. Work delivered to standard needed. Everything v tidy afterwards. Good at checking things are still working after their work. House is 1920s California Bungalow. Gas work was v old slim pipe under deck with… sml rusty hole leaking gas. Was fitted with new yellow gas pipe under decking. No more gas smell. Bathroom needed new toilet seat, seat lid and cistern, bath grouting and sink grouting. All sorted. Very happy thank you, again."

"Tamati and his team were fantastic to deal with. We had a gas smell and he was around promptly to inspect our very old system. Unfortunately it needed replacing but the pricing was great. His team also investigated a humming noise we had. After much investigation it was decided it was actually the water main at fault and tamati arranged with the council to have this replaced. Have recommended to others and will continue to use them. "

"We emailed 4cet plumbing on Sunday night with a request to fix a burst pipe. They emailed before 6.30am the next morning and was able to send William out right away. William did a great job, discovered the issue, and had it fixed before 9am. He advised of other pipes that may need attention in the future but wasn't pushy about getting that done right away.

"We attended and fixed a couple of obvious issues 9 days before we were contacted about a flood on a Friday/Saturday. The first contact I received was via email at 10pm on a Saturday night which I didn't pick up till Saturday afternoon. If it was an emergency a phone call would have been the best form of communication, I would have actioned our on call plumber to attend immediately. I was at kids sporting events all morning on Saturday and my phone went flat, as soon as I picked up the message when my phone had charge, I contacted the client requesting photos initially with no response other than someone else was contacted to fix the problem. I requested the findings of the problem/s fixed, with photos via email once I was able too. The findings and photos are still unknown to me as the next communication I received was a no cowboys "new Review". Tamaiti Brunning 4CET Plumbing and Gas Limited"

"4CET Plumbing and Gas did a top quality job for us. They installed a new hot water cylinder in my laundry and capped off the pipes to the previous one which had been in my kitchen. They also repositioned our washing machine, which involved new piping and a new waste. They also arranged an electrician who worked in with them. Ryan, who did the job, was friendly and helpful and worked to minimise any disruption for us. "

"My hot water cylinder leaked at two spots on a Sunday early morning. Not knowing which plumber has an excellent reputation, I spent hours on the internet to do some research. I decided to try 4CET Plumbing, which among a dozen plumbers in Wellington appeared to be the only one with authenticated ratings from customers, and almost all of them were positive. My research was worthwhile, because 4CET turned out to be very reliable and efficient, I rang and then completed the online request form… on a Sunday around 2pm. When I asked, Tamaiti (the company owner?) indicated that his plumber could come the following day and that their working hours started at 7:30am. Soon after dinner time I received the estimated quote and then paid the required initial deposit. On the Monday morning, the plumber (Jim) arrived at 7:25am (!), whereas I had actually been wondering if I'd be lucky enough to see the plumber by 9am. Jim was polite, friendly, patient, clearly very experienced, and focussed on the job. He kept on working, and took only about 30 minutes for lunch break. As a result, my water heater cylinder was replaced within the same day! Jim even taught me how to flush the cylinder, both on the old and the new ones (They are of different models). I am very satisfied with 4CET Plumbing and will certainly call this company again if I need plumbers in the future."

I thought to myself, wow, that sounds great if it was true. Long story short, it exceeded my expectations over and above. Talking and dealing with Tamaiti, before and after receiving my invoice was without a doubt an honest and sincere business manner. He clearly puts people before… profit, in a fair and timely manner, and is transparent in not trying to put one over, as I have been left feeling afterward with other businesses, such as once the jobs done they’re not really interested. I can’t say enough, except to say, I WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE SHARING THIS WITH OTHERS, they should seriously consider the ample services offered by this company over the ones they use. "Tamaiti is the best tradesperson I have worked with hands down!
We had a major leak in our house from the top floor into the garage and needed some one to urgently take a look. The situation was made more complex in that we lived overseas and our keys were with our property manager.
Tamaiti came strongly recommended from a friend and we called him in a panic around 5pm on a Saturday night. He was not only super calm and professional, he completely took control of the situation. He… arranged directly with the property manager to pick up the keys and promptly went over to the property to investigate the issue. He was able to to isolate the leak immediately and provided us and the property manager with a report on the damage and what needed to be repaired complete with photos.

We went ahead with the repairs and within a few hours the leak was not only fixed, but he used higher quality replacement parts to prevent future leaks and even replaced a faulty laundry tap while he was on site.

When the bill came in, everything was detailed and clear and not only did we pay it, we chucked a bit of extra in there to shout Tamaiti a well earned beer or two. Because of Tamaiti's fast response time, the water leak was contained to a much smaller area and saved us thousands in damages.

I highly recommend 4CET plumbing and gas - you will not be dissapointed."

"We used Tamati as part of our bathroom renovation. He was excellent, tidy and prompt. Our water cylinder gave up the ghost and started leaking ironically a week before the new infinity system was due to be put in. Tamati came out straight away on a public holiday to shut it off and then rescheduled his calendar to install the new system early so we could get hot water back. We will definitely be using Tamati again and would recommend him to anyone."

"Really good guy.
Explained what was going on clearly with pros and cons of each option, friendly, professional, prompt and just got the job done.
I gave him a late notice for a job but he still came out cause he knew we had been out of a kitchen for a while (not his fault at all) and made sure we had a kitchen for the weekend.
I got no reason to use any other plumbers.

"Highly recommended. One of the best customer experiences I\'ve ever Had. Tamaiti was everything a plumber /gas fitter should be and is a leading example. Reliable, hard working, friendly, and knows his stuff. Tamaiti even picked up some extra points by pointing out that the mains gas outside our house is rusty and needs replacing at the meter - and that our earth wire for electricity need investigation due to degradation and old style hook up.
