    "This company has treated my elderly parents appallingly. Their weatherboard home was re-painted, painfully slowly, and the ensuing series of remedial work required (as determined by an independent assessor appointed by APS) has still not been done, one year later. My mother speaks English as a second language and feels that the company just fobs her off and hasn\'t bothered to complete this job to an appropriate standard as they don\'t see my parents as the types who have the ability to pursue… this matter. It has caused an appalling amount of stress on their relationship (my father paid APS all the money billed as that is the type of man he is) and it has proved a very heartless matter to 2 people in their 80s. I am now encouraging my parents to go down the mediation path. All they want is for their house to look nice with a nice coat of paint - not peeling and with rust showing through. So recommend APS - NO WAY!!!!"
