"We asked Ace Roofing for help when the roof started leaking. Simon came and gave us all the options to help, from a partial to a full re-roofing along with accurate quote for each option and helpful advice on options, and no pressure on what option we wanted. Simon was always trying to keep the costs reasonable without compromising quality. We opted for a full re-roof as the old roof was badly deteriorated and the work was carried out in a very competent and complete way. Clean up was… marvelous with no debris left on site when they finished.

"Required an emergency repair as house on the market and roof had leaked- sent a request Sunday evening - Simon replied on Sunday and booked in inspection and fix early in the week so ready for open home by the weekend. Job worked and they were a pleasure to deal with and reasonable pricing."

Simon and his team were excellent!
They are professional, honest, organised, conscientious, tidy, great at communicating and the team worked seamlessly with other contractors working on the site. Highly experienced, any unusual snags (there were a couple) Simon soon had them sorted.
I was also impressed with the way Simon treated his crew and the excellent job he did training up an apprentice.
I liked the fact Simon proposed using an… environmental friendly colour for our roof which we are thrilled about and our spouting, which we had had ongoing issues with, Simon soon picked up on the problems and was able to fix it.

And to boot, the cost of the job was very competitive and the roof and spouting look Awesome!

"Simon responded to my request for a quote promptly and provided helpful guidance and insights on what we needed to do. On accepting the quote Simon scheduled the job straight away and the whole installation process went without any issues. The site was left tidy with all the old roofing materials and rubbish taken away. Very happy with the end result. The progress photos during the day were a bonus. "

"I am really late with my review (apologies Simon!!).
Simon and his crew came in August 2020 to replace our old roof and they did an great job. I had 3 roofers coming to quote for the replacement and Simon struck me as being the most professional and honest contractor. He gave honest feedback about the scope and took time to respond to all my questions about the scope. They are all very lovely guys and and really enjoyed sharing my smoko break with them as I was working form home that time.… Ace Roofing are member of the Association of NZ (RANZ) which is a gage of quality and professionalism. Highly recommended."

"I was recommended Simon and his team to replace a roof we manage on behalf of the owner. Simon was quick to quote at a reasonable price, great to communicate with, knew what he was talking about and happy to also install insulation at the same time.
The team did the work, my tenant is absolutely happy with their service and job was completed quickly.

"Simon and his crew did a great job on our roof. It was a big job as our house needed the whole roof and the guttering replacing, but I was super impressed with how quickly the materials arrived and the work was done. He was great to deal with and it all went very smoothly. The roof looks fantastic!

"We first called Simon and Ace when we had a leak on Sunday. He sent some of his team and evaluated the issue. Long term leak issues led us to deciding to get a new roof and a quote from Ace. Their quote was competitive but not the cheapest, but I was impressed that they were willing to arrange scaffolding, investigate other issues thoroughly, communicate quickly and also insulate difficult roof cavity spaces no one else would consider. They were willing to work in with Velux fitters, chimney… workers, etc. Ace fitted a new coloursteel roof for us and the team were excellent - I have already recommended them to friends with roof issues and would be happy to do so again."

"We engaged Simon to re-roof using a colour steel option. Simons communication was excellent, he kept us updated throughout the job, and was easy to deal with. The roof configuration did offer some challenges which Simon communicated to us up front. We did experience some issues, due to the configuration, and Simon was back on site immediately to assist us with a remedy - the communication, installation and after sale service has been excellent. "This is an unsolicited review. We hadto re roof our house and garage. A big concern was finding a reliable company who would do a professional job.
The experience we have had with Simon and his crew from ACE Roofing has been first rate. Its been gratifying working with top trades people who delivered quality workmanship on budget and in a timely and dependable way. One of our greatest concerns was finding a reliable company that would do a good job and stand by their work. ACE Roofing was a… recommended installer by colorsteel so that provided some level of assurance.

Getting the quote set the scene for the rest of the job. Simon walked through the whole process and explained the techinical aspects in a manner that was easily understood. He also turned up on time when we had arranged to meet on site.

The commenced the job on the agreed time and provided photos and cpordinated work the the builder and skylight installer to make sure the whole project finished in a seamless way. Meeting the team of roofers when they where working on site it was obvious Simons management of the project was backed up by tradepeople who took pride in their work and delivered quality work.

I have no hestiation in recommending ACE Roofing whether its replacement of an existing roof or putting on a new roof."
