From the outset Coilin set and managed our expectations very clearly and concisely. importantly Colin was was upfront with timings and availability. This was a massive change from most that we have been dealing with.

It allowed us to plan and programme our schedule… easily around this and more importantly Colin and Tony completed the work as per the schedule to an excellent standard.

Colin turned up on time and looked over the site. I already had a pretty good idea of what I wanted done, but Colin was also able to provide some good sound advice which was appreciated. Due to his professionalism, and overall conduct I… was quite happy to accept his quote when it arrived.

In the end I put the start of the build off until the following February, but Colin maintained contact throughout the start of the new year (2019)

He sent a reminder email the weekend before work was due to commence on the following Monday, and true to his word he arrived bang on time.

The old fence posts were removed and new posts laid and set in concrete in short order on the very first day. After allowing several days for the concrete to fully cure, he returned to hang the horizontal rails and fence palings. The majority of this work was completed on this second attendance! The only delay encountered was due to my request to have the metal frame for the gate powder coated which took a couple days extra, but was out of his control. The gate and remaining fence palings were hung and job completed in less than 2 hours on this third attendance.

The fence itself is extremely sturdy and well built, so should last for a good long while. The back yard was cleared of all offcuts and debris from the construction process and I was kept informed every step of the way. I would have no hesitation in recommending Colin and All Fences LTD to take care of any of your fencing needs/requirements etc."

Colin gave us two options and quoted them promptly. He gave good advice, communication was good and he always let us know when they'd be working. We were especially impressed when they mocked up a section of the… fence to help us decide on the final height.

The fence and gate were all done in a couple of days, and they look superb. We went for the more expensive of his two quotes, and it wasn't cheap but the price seems fair for how nice the fence is and what it will mean for our house. It's really given us our front yard in a sense. The feeling of privacy from the fence has transformed the space.. we've already been spending a lot of time out front, whereas before we would never hang out there. Thanks Colin and Tony, would highly recommend these guys!"

All Fence supplied/manufactured and installed an automated sliding gate across the front of our drive.

Communication is of up most importance to me when dealing with contractors, and Colin provides detailed and consistent communication - he does what he says he's going to do, when he says he's going to do it!

Having been let down by another contractor who accepted a deposit from us and didn't deliver the product, I was keen… to have a gate ASAP as our now toddler needs a secure place to play without constant hand-holding.

Colin took time to conduct a site visit to provide a detailed quote and understand the works that had been carried out already (some concrete poured). He then visited again to take detailed measurement for the bespoke gate to fit with the slope of the property and existing fences.

Colin took time to explain all the additional features available upfront to ensure we could select from them and made recommendations to suit our brief.

The workmanship exceeded our expectation as does the quality of the products installed. Colin and his team took great care to reinstate our garden and lawn following the installation of electrics.
