    "DS Trees cut down and removed trees (yucca, maple, olives) and hedges at mine and my 2 neighbours properties as well as stump grinding. The price was great and the workmanship fantastic. They even 'found' a small plant amongst a hedge of Port Wine berry and carefully worked around it during the removal and stump grinding. Turns out we didn't know it was there or want it but the care they took was beyond what I'd expect.
    Everything from the quote to the clean-up and the billing has gone… smoothly. I'd totally recommend them. Thanks very much.    "

    "Doug's guys always do a good job, I've never had an issue...until this last visit.
    For some reason the lead hand...I've never seen him before, but boy was he rude and short with my client, the rest of the crew were marvelous, like always, but to say I wasn't extremely disappointed with this guy, would be an understatement.
    Another annoying thing about this Lead Hand...he spoke with reflective sunglasses on.....I don't trust anyone who hides their eyes while talking to me....enough said now     "

    "A very difficult and technical job done by an amazing team. They tackled one of the largest trees that nobody would. They have in my opinion saved property and maybe life. I've been in many a storm and wondering when the next branch was going to drop and cause serious damage (which it had done in the past wiping out part of a neighbours garden)
    the team ethics and professionalism is outstanding to say the least and we would most definitely have them back or recommend their services to others.    "

    "Doug and his team of highly energetic, friendly and experienced guys were a pleasure to deal with. The difference they made in a couple of days was staggering - great result!. Also a big thank you to their landscaping partner JB Landscaping who took over where DS Trees left off and did a truly amazing job of the grounds.     "We had 5 palms removed and the stumps grinded and would highly recommend DS Trees to anyone. They are a great team and were very professional, fast and knew exactly what they were doing. They left the areas clean with no damage to the surrounding plants and gardens. In fact you would not know they had been except that the palms were gone. We will be using them again for other work and highly recommend them."

    "Very polite guys who turned up and did a tremendous job.
    The task was made difficult by "butchers" who had hacked at the trees on a previous occasion. D.S.Trees have done a magnificent job in getting the trees back to what they should be. They left leaving the place nice and tidy unlike some we have had in the past. We will be using D.S.Trees for all our future requirements now. Thank you guys.    "

    "Great job, Rang Des, he gave a quote which included a photo of the palm so we knew it was the right tree being removed. The quote was accepted and within a couple of days the boys arrived to remove it.The stump grinder came same day and ground the stump. No mess!! All rubbish removed from site."

    "I've used DS trees in the past and have recommended them several times to friends and family. They removed several large trees and stumps a few years ago in an area difficult to access. I was very satisfied with the work, workers and the pricing on that occasion and I was pleased to discover when they worked again for me recently, that they are still, in my opinion, the best tree company in Auckland. Over the years I've used a number of Companies having lived in areas where tree work was… required frequently. It wasn't as big a job on this occasion - the removal of a Strelitzia nicolai and also the trunks of some vines that had become embedded in a fence but access was still difficult. They handled it all with speed and professionalism. I will certainly use them again if required and continue to recommend them to others."

    "DS trees provided the best price and their services were truly excellent. We had some interesting quotes ranging up to $2000 for the same job that DS Trees were able to do for less than 1/3 of the price. They don't spare men power for a small job: three men came for one not-so-big silk tree which I appreciated greatly. They got the tree down promptly and did an amazing job getting rid of the stump and any visible roots. Hassle free, no fuss. They were at our house only two days after the… payment. Although they were quite slow responding to emails and communicating when and if the stump will be done, I was overjoyed with overall result that the lack of communication wasn't much of an issue in the end but I understood why they didn't get 100% in their reviews. I think if the review were to be done solely on the quality of the job delivered, I would've been more than happy to have given then 150%. I will definitely be using them again in the future."

    "DS trees have done a few jobs for us now as I was really impressed with the first major job they did by cutting down a Norfolk Pine for us a few years back.     "After a night of wild weather, I contacted the company to remove a large fallen branch. They said that they would be there in the afternoon and they were. They removed the fallen branch and removed everything leaving behind a clean and tidy garden. The invoice did not include the downtime when their chipper was not working."

    "On April 10th my large Pittosporum was a victim to the storm that swept through Auckland. It fell against my house and clothes line.. I sent an SOS call(by email) to DS Trees. Doug responded first thing in the morning.
    When i realised the extent of the storm i didn't expect them to come out that day, however, when i arrived home the tree was all gone. I really appreciated Doug actually replying to my email (by phone) but also the very prompt action in getting things sorted.     "

    "Doug from DS Trees came promptly when asked for a quote. He was knowledgeable about trees and gave pertinent advice. His quote was better priced than another highly rated tree company. We understandably had to wait a few weeks for the work because he is in demand and the weather has been poor. On the morning of the job, one of his crew came and walked around our home, double checking they understood the written quote correctly and knew exactly which trees to chop and which to leave alone.… The job was done while I was at work. I was delighted on arriving home to see how much smarter our garden looks! The place was left very tidy. Our 2 neighbours spoke to him while he was here about work too.     "This Company are awesome. They are friendly, they turned up as promised, gave a really good quote, and did the job perfectly. They then removed another stump, removed a couple of trees, then returned to take all the tree rubbish away, as well as a pile of ours that we were taking to the tip, all for no extra! Then to top it all off they dropped off a truck load of mulch. I was blown away. Its not often you get service like that. I highly recommend them."

    "A tree on my property that had previously been damaged fell, blocking access to the garage. Matt was at my property literally within ten minutes of my call to push the tree aside so I could use my car. They returned the next day when they said they would to finish the job of removal and clearance at a competitive price. Now that's service! I can't recommend them highly enough. "

    "We have just had Doug and the guys over to cut down an old popular tree and an absolutely huge eucalyptus tree in our back yard. The eucalyptus was at least 6 stories high, and quite close to neighboring houses. The removal was effected with absolutely no problems, and no damage to fences etc. The section was left in a tidy state, with the wood we wanted kept for us piled neatly. Dad and I really enjoyed having the guys here, they were polite and efficient, and got on with their work in a… timely and efficient manner. The work was done when Doug said it would be as well. After seeing Doug's team handle our tree, I can confidently say that no job is too big for them. But alongside that, we had Doug over to do a much smaller job some years ago, and he was as happy and obliging with a smaller task, as he has been with this large job. Both times, Dad and I were very happy with the reasonable price as well. I highly recommend Doug, and his guys, you won't find a better team."

    "We recently used DS Trees for removal of a HUGE Norfolk Pine and I mean huge not only huge but with difficult access I cannot speak highly enough of Doug and his team for the job they did. The job involved the use of a huge crane and traffic management all of which was arranged by Doug. Everthing went like clockwork and the site was left clean and tidy.
