I was very happy with (1) Frank and Team, for being very good to work with and honest and straightforward (2) being able to handle a relatively difficult job (working in a confined truss roof cavity space with limited height) shows Fluffbusters professionalism and expertise to get any job done, and done rite, no hassles, Fluffbusters are definitely NOT cowboys!

They drove all the way from Auckland to Whangarei to do our job and we could not be more pleased with the result. They arrived when they said they would in the morning, got stuck in setting up their (amazing) equipment, and by the end of the afternoon left us with a roof space totally cleared of all the nasty insulfluf which we had to have removed.… Lovely people to deal with, Frank and his partner were just great, and efficient and hardworking too. 100%"It's not often that cheapest price gets the best quality, but I felt like I got exactly that with Frank. I was initially turned off by the zero budget website but just proves once again about books and their covers.
Frank and his apprentices sucked out 80m2 of insulfluff and 80m2 of Pink Batts in about 5 hours and where the most competitively priced out of 4 service providers I called. I went into the ceiling after the job was done and it really was spic n span.

Frank's communicated all his observations about the status of the ceiling, potential damages due to an old plumbing pipes -which are hidden under the old insulation.
I already recommended his valuable service to one of the builders and two friends.

Arrived on time, setup was quick and they made sure to put down drop cloths and were careful with the house, they worked quickly and hardout all day. They packed up and even vacuumed. 100%"Despite being told by an insulation firm that the insult-fluff in my attic was 'minimum code' and there was no need for new insulation I felt otherwise and had Frank from Fluffbusters check it out. Turns out is was in a pretty bad state and removing it was not only a great option but highly recommended for the house holds health and well being. Frank was great to work with, very easy to get on with and very free with advice and information. I have a very low pitch roof and access is dreadful, I… could see Frank was a bit daunted by the proposition until I told him I was getting the house reproofed and new insulation installed, at which point it was just a matter of getting working with the roofers and having them open up the roof in strategic points for Frank and Eric to access the roof with he giant vacuum cleaner and they made short work of getting almost all of the fluff out of the roof. Access was still tricky for them and it was a very hot day, but they just powered through it and did an awesome job and really didn't get in the way of the roofers to any degree.

100%"As many of the reviews have said before, I will also agree that the service delivered by Frank and Eric from Fluff-busters was Fantastic.
On Time, Friendly, Got stuck into it and did a great job. Frank kept up great communication before the job, which he was able to support at fairly short notice.
If anyone reading this is contemplating on removing old Insul-fluff or similar horrible insulation, I would fully recommend it, DON'T insulate over the top of it, do it ones do it right. On hot… days we could smell the dust coming from the HRV and played havoc to my asthma. Will also make further renovations so much easier with out having to bath in insulation and what ever else has been in there over the last 60 years.

100%"Franks is a true man to his word. Him and his friendly worker came at 7.30am and worked through to 6.30pm non stop on our home in Devonport. I had no idea at the scope of the works. Value for money. He stuck to his quote and had an amazing positive attitude the whole time. We sat and had lunch together and he is a very pleasant and interesting person. About us
Fluffbusters is Aucklands premiere insulation removal business servicing the greater Auckland area ,Waikato and Bay Of Plenty.
What we do
Our expertise is in removing and disposing of ceiling insulation such as Insul-fluf (also known/spelt as insul-fluff, insulfluff or insulfluf ) cellulose, polystyrene bead , loose fill fibre or wool type products.
Think very carefully before installing new insulation over the top of older insul-fluff type products.
Cellulose insulation (macerated paper) absorbs and stores high levels of moisture in your ceiling and installing new over old simply creates a moisture sandwich which is often contaminated with dead vermin and their faeces.
Why would you install a ventilation system pumping those smells down into your house ?Healthy home ? I don't think so ! We are often asked to remove these products from a home after ventilation systems have been installed. A high grade filter might block the dust, till it becomes prematurely clogged , and the salesman won't tell you that.. but it won't block the smell or prevent the allergies.
