Budgets were stuck to and a great finish. 100%"Gavin and his team recently put in a deck for us. Having contacted Gavin some months prior, we were flexible in our dates with our a plan to have it in for summer. Gavin was happy to give us some ideas on how best to make use of the space. From initial conversations Gavin always kept us updated on his timelines with other work, we were delighted when the team arrived in early November to do the work. 95%"Gavin & his team took on the work at my 110 year old house that was a mix of multiple repairs to the exterior, where they weren't sure how much rot they would uncover when removing weatherboards. Very tidy repairs made after discussing practical, cost-effective options. My access involves a lot of steps, but none of the team complained. Always friendly and polite on site. 93%"Gavin has recently completed an18 month renovation project on our property. The renovation involved major groundworks and required the three story house to be propped and the bottom story and foundations completely rebuilt into a two bedroomed flat. The other two stories have also undergone major renovations involving rebuilding a garage with an en-suite on top, new kitchen and three decks of a very challenging steep section.

100%"With winter coming on we had some urgent exterior weather proofing we needed to get done as soon as possible. We were also considering the option of recladding our asbestos exterior at the same time- but didn't think we could afford it. After a number or quotes varying in approach and price, the last builder we met with was Gavin. Immediately we felt like we could trust him with his down to earth nature and positive can do attitude. He also understood our budget so he offered us a very… reasonable rate. We agreed and he started work with in weeks.
As the days went by we could see the great progress he was making. His excellent communication skills ensured that we were always kept up to date with the challenges and solutions of the job. He would even turn up in terrible weather to check in. But the day I was truly impressed was when a family accident affected his work / life and yet he still turned up and kept working!
Trusting Gavin was the right choice, he turned out to be not only a genuinely good guy but a quality builder, on time and on budget. Gold!. We are so happy with the results but more so that we found a builder we can trust for a fair rate and great quality.
